This was one of the few SOL I really thought could be done better :( :( But certainly give it a try, OP.

As for Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, I strongly suggest you read the manga as well.

Finally, let me strongly second the relatively unknown Binchou-tan, Aria as indispensable, GA because for some reason people usually skip this one although it is so good, Ichigo Mashimaro for being extremely funny and Sketchbook for... everything, really (although many people say it is boring).

Edit2: Checking your list I noticed some things in your dropped anime. First of all, if you get in the mood to rewatch lucky star, feel free to skip the first 3 or even 4 episodes. Around that point the director changes and the anime becomes at least decent (I like it a lot). You can go back after you are done if you feel like watching more of the girls. Secondly, Hataraki Man is about the everyday life of people in the workforce so I can understand if you found it boring; I hope later on you revisit it if it becomes more relevant to you (I am still hunting the manga down...). Finally, excellent job on being moderate and thoughtful about your likes and dislikes.
