The Hurt Locker.
Didn't really have many expectations going into it, so it's kind of hard to judge. It was good, but it's not really the kind of movie that you can go "Yeah, that was enjoyable."

The Lone Ranger (2013). What a hot mess of a movie. I don't even know where to start... let me just say that I don't know what separates good movies from bad. I suppose that's why it's called movie magic. But there is a critical element missing from this film. And as a result, it is not very much fun. I wish the rest of the movie was like the last 20 minutes where everything came together and was very cool. I don't want to drown the movie in criticism so I'll leave it at that. Watch instead: The Mask Of Zorro and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.

Just saw Silenced (A.K.A "The Crucible")

You go through so many emotions while watching it. The child actors were absolutely amazing. I want to say I recommend it, but know that it may be disturbing for some.

Watched that only last week myself and while I mostly agree, I thought the actual story of it is far more enjoyable than most other typical American war films.

As for myself, courtesy of ITV2, I'm catching up on watching some Star Wars movies I have still not seen, ha.

Man what a trip lol I loved it because I'm a biology/biochem nerd and it was great wacky science all the way. Overall, nothing was particularly terrible and I was entertained throughout. I'd give it a 6/10.

Kick-ass 2.
More comedy, more action and a lot more violent than the predecessor.
Mother Russia is by far the most badass character in that film.

Just rewatched "Richard the III" with Ian McKellen

i haven't seen it in years, and although the story is a bit abridged (a good choice for this play) McIKellen is fantastic and its such a great play.

Just kidding i was totally blackmailed for my little girl to take her to the infernal place with tons of other teenagers screaming at the top of their lung as if they could listen them , yet behind all the glam and "fun" i saw kids being ripped out of their families used and overworked , to end in sadness poor guys I feel sorry for them mostly Zayn this has really taken a toll on him ...But i got to photobomb the hell out of a lot of these girls some were scared but hey "moms just wanna have fun" too.

the girl who stars is mesmerizing.

Zodiak and The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo.

Both great, I typically don't like creepy movies, but I think Fincher handeld them both well. I really wish they'd come out with the other two Millennium movies, it'll probably be at least 2016 before the next one comes out. :/

Oh well, I guess I'll watch the Swedish versions now.

The original movies are much better than the remakes. You should have seen them first and stop there. Imo the American ones don't even compare

Evil Dead (2012) Really wished afterwards they had left the original alone plus since evil dead 2 is already a remake of evil dead you wonder why Sam Rami bothered. The other thing that was missing from this remake was the humor. Being a funny horror film is what made the orignal stand out but this was far more serious, which felt like every other teens trapped in a cabin Cliché.

Just watched Police Story.

It was great. I've always loved Jackie. Excellent stunts, well choreographed fight scenes, and some comedy to boot. Seeing a movie that relied more on its cast's skill rather than it's budget was kinda nice too-- yay 1980's.

More Jackie flicks ho!

Yes. This movie is just amazing. :3 It's actually even one of my favs.

I think the last movie I watched was... A Bittersweet Life. Korean gangster movie, really dramatic and awesome. Badass action scenes too.

I've got myself a Netflix account to watch the final season of Breaking Bad so I've been watching loads of random picks. Last one I was watched was 'Broadcast News', a pretty good 1980s flick from James L. Brooks. A bit of romance, some subtle humour and good characters, nice performances all round, my kind of thing.
Next up: Robocop

Grease

They always have a few of these high school musicals every decade. Sure this is no Satruday Night Fever, but a reasonably entertaining musical. And yeah, Fever isn't a musical but I just wanted to mention it among titles that have Travolta dancing around and he has basically similar characters in both. I'm also a big fan of oldies music so that always add up. Man, I got to memorize the lyrics for "We Go Together". This has got to be the most upbeat song ever.

I've been watching the Rocky movies this past week, I just finished Rocky 4 today. Personally, I think the first was the best, and from there they got progressively worse. However, I am excited for Rocky 5 and Rocky Balboa, especially so for Rocky Balboa. I don't know why, but I just feel that it'll be pretty good and bring back some of the flavour from Rocky 1 and 2.
