| Neat topic. I kind of assumed a considerable number of my favorite anime took place outside of Japan, but it seems like my top rated list is split half in and half out. Some favorites of mine that meet the criteria are Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, Outlaw Star, and Slayers. They all take place in fictional places or outer space though, which I guess is kind of cheating. It looks like Chrno Crusade is my highest rated anime that actually takes place in a real country outside of Japan. |
