DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Fujiko's character has really decayed compared to the portrayal in the first series and it's on full display here. Her cunning manipulation to get her hands on that guy's giant ruby was to say "show me your ruby". She's a bit obvious, isn't she? |

| Huh? Wasn't this episode the one about Lawrence of Arabia the third and the oil fields? I think you got your episodes mixed up. I do agree with Fujiko's character decaying though. Edit: It was my mistake. Apparently episode 3 was switched to episode 26 so all mine are off by 1. How annoying. What I posted in the wrong thread apparently I will post here....... I like the episodes where Fujiko acutally shows her caring side for Lupin. Too bad her character is not as good in this one as in the first. She's been downgraded like Zenigata imo. Was Lupin's reputation actually cleared in this? They tricked Zenigata into arresting Nomil and fake Lupin but I didn't see any indication that his reputation was cleared for the murders. I guess it's just one of the things that you let pass when watching this series. |

| It seems to always be a "Third" with Lupin. xD Well, the guy met his end lusting after Fujiko, but he did get far. I mean, he was an impostor, but he did infiltrate the government and got the money. But I guess his luck ended after the money was targeted by Lupin and his friends. |
