| ^ It certainly implied that. Who else's baby would it be? Unexpectedly satisfying ending. This series started off on an extremely dark beginning, but the rest of the series was surprisingly light hearted (but not in the normal sense of the word). Overall, the series was realistic to a certain extent and enjoyable. Its nice to have a manga that is such a huge change of pace from your typical seinen. 8/10 |

| Overall I really enjoyed this series. While it wasn't the best I have ever read, it kept me busy. I think the ending is very fitting, it has the same feel as the whole series did. Unlike many others, I'm satisfied and not sad it's over. |

| It's been a long since I last read it, probably 3 years. Still the best ending ever! |
| The juxtaposition between the erotic, somber opening, and the emotional, touchy-feely ending was a bit a jarring. There were definitely moments of brilliance, but I can't help but feel the story was overly-contrived to the point that I wouldn't have been surprised if the Japanese government declared war on the Suzuki family. Ichirou, the father, was comedic gold from the beginning-to-middle chapters, but his antics became irksome in the latter chapters (perhaps this was by design, so the reader could empathize with Akikio...or was it Takako?). I find Asano's portrayal of dysfunctional families more tonally consistent and genuine with reality. I may write a review on this one...I still have many thoughts. But for now, 7.5/10 seems fair. |

| Idk the ending feels very sad for me. The "happy family" thing that the father was trying to keep turns out to be the one thing that made them unhappy. It kinda hits close to home. |
