Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - Still watching but psychological and horror elements are seriously lacking any substance.
I thought that horror & psychological applied to only the first 4 episodes of the series. After that, it seemed more along the lines of a mystery show. I still love the series though.

Honestly it just not my cup of tea. In my opinion people who loves HSotD already fans of zombie apocalypse movies, which is not my favorite genre to begin with.

I really wanted to like One Piece, Fairytale and Gintama... but after watched a few episodes I just wasn't able to get into them. Oh also hstories strongest disciple.

Soul Eater. Watched a few episodes, but I couldn't bare the excessive, horribly childish humor.

For me, it has to be Rurouni Kenshin. My friend recommended it, and I really wanted to enjoy it but couldn't finish. I mean it virtually had no plot and bored me to pieces.

Guilty Crown. It LOOKED amazing, but it turned out to be the biggest disappointment I've had with anime.

Eureka Seven. It's got sooooooo much going for it, it's ridiculous. The premise, the surfer vibe they got going, the music, the art, the amazing world they created and it's underlying themes. And I can definitely understand the ratings and love for it. But my god Renton...and most of the cast.

I really wanted to like Ghost Hunt , I really did, but the way the characters were drawn put me off. It felt devoid of tension/mystery. Maybe some day I'll give it another chance because I only watched the first arc.

Turn A Gundam - I liked the idea of it and I also liked playing Turn A in the Gundam games, but I just couldn't bring myself to like the anime no matter how much I looked at it

the .hack// series - like Turn A Gundam, I liked the idea but I just can't like it, it was moving TOO slow for my pace, but the new movie looks like it'll be more interesting than the anime

Lucky Star, I was a victim of the very alive hype so I watched the first 2 episodes but it really wasn't funny or entertaining. It reminds me of Joshiraku, except Joshiraku is better. As much as I like dialouge heavy anime, the moe was to ridiculous to deal with.

Dance in the vampire bund - Seemed to be praised pretty well, but it's a bit too... Well, you know.

Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou -

The first episode was the single funniest thing i have ever seen, after that......i couldn't enjoy the show as much as i wanted too. I mean i still thought it was ok just not as amazing as i wanted it to be.

Hyouka -

Made by my favourite studio, couldn't keep me entertained enough to anticipate the upcoming episode's. I'll probably end up watching it all though when the BD come's out just for dat animation, not to mention i have a really bad attention span with currently airing stuff.

Hell Girl- I thought it looked really cool and I wanted to watch it, but when I watched the first two episodes it seemed every episode followed a similar plot, and I lost interest.
Air- I heard it was good and it sounded interesting but after the first 3 episodes I just wasn't amused at all. I didn't get a single small chuckle out of it or even a moment of interest.
I know I only tried a couple episodes, but that really is all it takes for me to judge the series.

I'll agree with you there. SnS had A LOT of potential and really didn't live up to the hype. What's funny is I thought the 3rd season was the best season but had the BIGGEST plot hole of any of the three series'. Well, I don't know if I would call it so much a plot hole...more like a very, very, VERY stupid plot twist.

As for me, I REALLY wanted to like sola. It seemed to have so much potential and I loved some of its plot twists...but the final few episodes just seemed so...dead (literally?). Then again, Aoto is probably one of my least favorite characters of all-time and...

Can't stand carrot top boy. I'm reading the manga just so I don't have to hear his wimpy voice or glance at his ginger hair.

lol at making fun of an anime character's hair color.

Not a Shirou fanboy, I just find it strange to mock a character's hair color in an anime (in the world of anime, genes are like the rainbow!)

Sakamichi no Apollon. it seemed so promising, but it was just hilariously dramatic/ridiculous.

Also Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. It seemed to be trying really hard and I just couldn't get into the characters.

My most recent would have to be Guilty Crown. I was really psyched for it when it was first announced and the first episode had so much promised (though it was still pretty much a carbon copy of Code Geass- thats not a bad thing), but after that it went downhill hard especially after episode 5 when it started looking for an image to separate itself from the crowd. After that it was a downward spiral leading to a final result - Epic Fail: It contradicted itself, it had way to many shitty twists, and all characters I found remotely OK turned into utter abominations for no good reason. There's more of course but i don't want to get into it - just too disappointing.

Super Robot Wars Original Generations: The Inspector (based from SRW:OG2)

As much as I like the game and its mecha battle, I hate it when I found that "breasts showcase" becomes a dominant aspect in the anime.
"All life begins with Nu and ends with Nu."

However, in Gundam, all life begins with Nu and ends with Hi-Nu. While in KanColle, all life begins with Nu and ends with Kinu.

In my opinion...Guilty Crown

In addition to the captivating opening and ending themes provided by acclaimed, Japanese band Supercell, the OST was simply enthralling.

Given the degree of prowess with which members of the arts and animation team exhibited, the anime was, seemingly, going beyond my personal standards and expectations.

These aforementioned conceptions, however, were evidently both disregarded and rendered, in a sense, irrelevant due to the lack of aptitude associated in the execution of the show's premise.

Your vocabulary wow.

For me, it's Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. It's an.. okay show, I guess. I'm not really enjoying it though and I don't find any of the humor funny. And those are probably the two things that actually make the show.

For those of you who had difficulty understanding him, he basically said Guilty Crown sucked ass apart from the sound and animation.

Also, Neon Genesis Evangelion (needs a re-watch for confirmation).
