| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I thought this episode was fairly suspenseful. Since they do kill off characters somewhat often, there is always the possibility that some may kick the bucket. |

| At one point the situation seemed desperate with the two female hostages, I was sure at least one of them was gonna die. Expected the fight Ken vs Rei, the dancing of Ken was silly, but how they planned it out was genius, would have been better to end the episode with their supposed deaths though. 4/5 |

| Gotta love how they reacted to the kiss the same way they'd react to an impressive new move. So dramatic. |
| I think it was to be expected that Mamiya would fail and the boss would end up with the 2 girls. When he managed to make Ken and Rei fight eachother, I thought they would make their move on the boss after he threw away the sword he was using to threaten the girls. This episode they were not already dead. I really thought this was going to be the episode the boss would die, but I guess I'll have to watch one more. |

| So, did Mamiya actually kiss Kenshiro or not? With this episode, I think romance between the two is possible. It was inevitable for Rei to fight Kenshiro eventually. But it was cool how both were able to communicate about faking their death to trick the common enemy. I really thought Rei was gonna try to kill Kenshiro for good because he basically lost control. It's interesting to see how the main story differs from the abridged story from Lost Paradise. But I wonder how the anime differs from the manga too. Apparently the last 6 episodes were mixed canon and filler while this episode was manga canon. The next episode is mixed canon and filler too tho. |
