| Mononoke! I've only finished one arc, and I have to say, it's slightly dialed down from Bakeneko. The arc in Ayakashi has a stranger sense of humor, much scarier scenes, a more unsettling story, and is in general, just better. I'm hoping to be more impressed with the rest, but even so, the baby arc is still much better than most of what Anime horror has to offer. If the pattern is correct, it's getting easy spotting the villains. They always have a blank expression and wide eyes that don't look as if they've blinked, ever. It's goofy looking at first, but turns creepy. |

| Bakemonogatari was really worth the wait. I remember back when I found it, it seemed so far off. But now that it's airing, I'm glad they took the time they did with making it. I'd like to see the entire thing through first, but I may even love this more than EL. And I'm the most unbelievably obsessed EL fan ever. However I also feel obligated to mention Canaan. Surprisingly enjoyable so far. |
