In celebration of the box set release, there have been 4 clips (1 2 3 4) from the show published online. Visit MVM's official press release. And according to the press release, the box set even comes with a nifty exclusive limited edition Samurai Champloo bandana!

EDIT: To be specific - this release is in the UK. The US release of the boxset was July 4 last year.

I wonder if it will be the same as the bandanna that came with the vol. 1 + box released in the states. I still have mine lying around somewhere in my room.

HAHA. I missed the part where this was the British release XD *slaps forehead*

I have a region-free player, though. So no worries X)! Sandgolem-- depending on what DVD player you have, it might be really easy to convert it to a region-free player.

You can pre-order it on Amazon UK's website and have it sent to an American address (look for the link that explains how to do that on the delivery address page), and if you pay with a credit card it automatically converts the payment .

Sorry about that guys. Yes it is UK release. I did an edit. If you want the US release you can get it most places like Amazon.

I'm not a Brit, I just play one on TV.
NO not really but I am drawn to their stuff.

You realise it'll almost certainly be just the same as the US release but a different region code, yeah?

If only I had money I would probably get this. We hardly ever get box sets (although it is getting better).

Region codes make the difference although you can find codes on the net as how to enable most major dvd players to be region free. One of my players is an Emerson and it was as simple as holding down the stop button while hitting 188.

Absolutely, I was mainly meaning that if you were in the US and for some reason really fancied importing the UK release, all you'd be getting was a US box set with a different region code, for more money and higher shipping costs - basically that it would be pointless. Oh, and you'd need to be sure it wasn't PAL format, or that you could display PAL on your TV.

Well, I thought it was the US release at first, which was why I got excited (even though I thought it was weird they were releasing it so late...LOL). I've been meaning to pick it up for a while.

Anyway. It doesn't matter where I get it from, because I set my player to be region free. Besides, I want that bandana :B

They apparently think that FHM is a great advocate for anime. LOL
