| Stemming off the PS2 RPG topic, what is your favorite PSX RPG's (preferably non-action)? I've been replaying PSX games, and feedback would help me compose a list of games I don't remember as well or completely missed out on. Preferably, leave out remakes of SNES games. My favorites: Final Fantasy IX (VII is worth mentioning, and I couldn't even bring myself to finish VIII) Chrono Cross Xenogears (I still think it's the best of the Xeno's) Suikoden II ... Thousand Arms (Yes, I liked this game, bar the story) Yes, I realize these are mostly Square titles. |

| FF IX and FF Tactics are some of the best things to ever come out bearing the final fantasy logo Star ocean 2 was probably the best star ocean in the series (although 3 is still my favorite) I remember having a lot of fun with Vagrant Story, though I never finished it. |

| 1. Xenogears - to this day is my all time favorite game in this genre of gaming, and has been for the past 10-11 years or so since i first got my hands on it. Nothing else compares to it's magnificenc. 2. Final Fantasy VII - Yeah i know a lot of people say this, but this is so far my favorite FF game. I love it. 3. Tales of Phantasia - My favorite port of my second favorite Tales of game. |

You can also just get a rom, patch it, and load it up on a PSP running custom firmware, which is what I did. |

My PSP isn't hacked at all, so it's probably not possible. I DO have the GBA version, but the gameplay is just awful in that version. I have the Japanese Narakiri Dungeon X remake of Phantasia too, which I'm currently playing. |
