| I remember that epic moment when i was about 11 and Trunks came from the future and killed Freeza in one chapter. That was so great! I remember tons of DB and DBZ fights being fantastic, but I'm not sure if I'll enjoy them now. I'm sure the epic moment when Goku and Arale defeat the red ribbon army with a crap on a stick will remain as good though...Same with those epic Saint Seiya battles... Recently I enjoyed the Ichigo vs Byakuya in Soul Society, and Lucy doing cruel things to that bloke in the beach in Elfen Lied... I remember some good fights in Ergo Proxy and Blood + but i can't pinpoint them and I can't think of any more (apart from when Sunako from YNSH appears with an SS uniform and a chainsaw with the word DEATH written in it, but that not reaaally a fight)! |

Hellsing Ultimate will have quite a few awesome fights too if it keeps following the manga. | Opening action scene in Futakoi Alternative is actually worth a mention, just because it's so outrageous. Jin and Mugen's fights in the last 4 or 5 episodes - anyway, from Sara onward, are very memorable. The anime fight scene from Kill Bill (not an anime, sadly, but this part counts!) with O-ren is quite nice. There are plenty others. I tend to like action sequences just as long as they're non-repeat frame'd or filled with unnecessary dialogue. Fluid animation and juicy slicing/impacting sounds are a plus, as well. |
