| Not really a good place to start Doraemon, there's no introduction to the characters or the backstory. I guess the manga is the best place to start since I think the original anime is lost. Then again it's just a cute children gag comedy show. How do you mistake a mini village for trash? hah. |

Indeed, I also thought the mom was a bit extreme. Trampling over perfect copies of villagers houses & calling it trash. XD This is also my first introduction to Doraemon. I did a bit of research and apparently a movie called "Doraemon 2112" is about the origins of Doraemon, but it was made in the 90's. So I'm just gonna keep watching these episodes for now. I was surprised about how short they are. But that's fine, it makes it more accessible. As a first episode, it establishes the relationship between Nobita & Doraemon. We also see Doraemon has special powers or gadgets. I'm sure there's more special surprises waiting for us. I also read there are a few early episodes from 1973, but I think they are lost. If anyone knows more about these, please let me know. :) |

| Title ゆめの町ノビタランド / The City of Dreams, Nobita Land "The episode starts with Nobita getting bored. Then Suneo invites them to play Dodgeball, but when they get to the place they usually play gets turned into a place to put materials. Then Doraemon takes out a camera which can make miniature versions of buildings. They successfully make Nobita Land and invited their friends to play, but it gets destroyed by Nobita's Mother in the end. The episode ends with all the scrap metal landing on Doraemon." damn, early animation is quirky heh |

| It's so funny how Doraemon has no sense at all. Good episode. The part where Nobita's mom destroys everything was funny. |
| So this was the beginning of Doraemon or, at least, the first episode still available. |
