Nothing. I don't own any manga. I enjoy reading them, which I do online. Although there are several that I like, I don't like them enough to want to own them. I'm very picky about what I spend money on and what I give shelf space to.

I used to spend more than $40 worth of manga but I'm slowing down right now because I have over 300 volumes in my room. And I probably won't have any space left to put my manga if I continue to buy one manga per week now.

It was never per week, but at my most craziest shopping peak, I was spending anywhere from $150 - $200 every two weeks. I have cut back drastically since then.

I just can't seem to dedicate hard earned money into a fast read item that I can easily access online. I used to buy manga once but found that it just takes up way too much space to just lie around aimlessly. Instead I'm saving up for a trip to Japan in a few years and language courses :).

It varies. There are some weeks and months where I don't buy anything. I generally buy several titles at once during online sales, so it's not unusual for me to spend $100-200 at a time, but that's only once every few months. Though if I'm browsing at the book store and see something that catches my eye I'll pick it up.

I usually buy monthly cause it's much easier to buy it all in a shot. Usually $200~$250 per month. So I guess 50+. However, I buy these straight from japan online, so if accounting for shipping costs as well...let's just say it's much more.

I used to raid SecondSpin every few months for hundreds of pounds worth of second-hand R1 DVDs. Nowadays, I've cleaned them out and they rarely offer free shipping + 20% off codes.

I used to order £17.99 R1 DVDs from PlayUSA. The store was taken over and no longer offers under-customs bargains.

I used to go crazy over bargains on eBay. However, I now own so much junk that it'd be daft to order more, just because it's cheap, and most .co.uk auctions are of little to no interest.

I don't buy many live-action movies or games, and I don't like a spending a lot on either.

All of the above leaves manga as my one remaining spending option of considerable interest. Throw-in the fact the cheapest UK store constantly has 10% off codes knocking about and it's easy to see why I spend so much on manga, when I'm in the mood.

I used to spend about upto £20 on it weekly, but once I started to need my money for other things I only buy it rarely now. The last time I bought it was at the start of this year.

Almost always 0. There were one or two times I splurged and bought a couple of volumes, but usually I don't buy manga.

Weekly, anywhere from $10-20. It really depends if I'm following certain manga releases and also how often I go to Half Price Books.

I spend a lot on manga. I actually just buy like 5 volumes every time my mom gets paid, which is pretty much every week. I don't know if it's a problem yet or not.

Lately, I've been spending something silly like £150 per week because of the cheapest UK online bookstore having 10% off codes active for over a month. But now I'll go through a period where I won't buy any manga (used and pre-ordered aside) for months. It evens itself out.

I was looking over some receipts from manga purchases and decided to figure out how much I have spent since I gave in last May and started buying manga. It comes out to roughly 2000 USD over 9 months, or 57 USD weekly on average. Although I usually only spend around 50 USD a month on magazines; the average is thrown off by some large purchases or binge shopping.

However my collection is only worth ¥70,089 retail, which would mean I spent 50%+ on shipping; not accounting for any deviation from retail price. Shipping from Japan is a bit pricey. -_-

Think I have a spending problem? >.>

Our library network has a really good collection of manga, so I tend to just borrow manga from the library. I do occasionally buy a volume or two, or more if I come across old copies that are super cheap. Altogether, probably no more than $10 a week.
