Sure there were some flaws, but I can forgive them seeing as how it all just fit together for me. Of course I'm going to have to get the visual novel from my friends as soon as I go back to my uni... they'll never let me live this out (finally playing the visual novel after half a year of their nagging). -.- Overall it gets a 9/10 from me. And Saber is <3 |

Lots of loose ends weren't tied, because frankly, it's an anime based off a visual novel. There's a lot of info in the VNs, but they just put in the main stuff for the anime. All in all, loved it. Cryable ending because I lurve Saber. Got me looking into it, and got me to play my first VN. 9/10 |

| I gave it a 7, because I thought it was enjoyable overall. I could understand maybe rating it an 8, but I really don't think it deserves anything higher. Character development, plot holes, pacing, those are all very huge things that affect an anime. And I found problems with all of them. I do have to say that the ending surprised me, I expected a highly cliche end. So kudos for not doing that. |

| Liked the anime pretty mutch. But It nevery ever made me think that this was a geart anime it was good but i felt they could of done a hell of a lot more with the story. Especialy Archer he ruled! |

| It's too bad they had to cut out so many things from the anime. I studied around wikipedia a bit about FSN, where I learned there was much to be had. I loved the ending, though the anime itself was just 'alright'. |

| No Plun you are wrong.The anime was great and you cant say anything about it in overall.Animation was great sound as well.Characters were well developed and so was the story.I rewatched FSN at least 5 times and played both routes on visual novel.Hmm excuse me but what do u mean no story?Like naruto Clannad lucky star Bleach or any other of the well know animes have "story".You cant except eveything be like DN and GC and surprize you.Unlike the other fighting animes main characters DIED as well and you couldnt predict the ending(tell me that any1 here believed that Saber wil actualy die... Same goes with Archer.The only thing that i can agree on is that VN is better.And excuse me mister Metroid_ex but from your perspective ALL animes are overrated.You scored Deathnore with 6 for example.How canyou rate an anime with such a good and uncommon story+ great animation and sound with 6?I might seem a little provoking but plaze dont get offended im just having a discussion so no hard feelings plz :) |

| they're not ordinary "people" like what you think, and they didn't got killed that's why they're still alive, when you say killed next to that is being dead =), badly wounded is different. SABER WTF <3 and is cool, I like her as the same level as C.C. and Horo from spice and wolf =) Rin Tohsaka is cute either |

| There were many flaws (pacing, gaps in story, dodgy exposition) but overall it was fairly enjoyable. I was expecting less from an anime based on the kind of visual novel it was. I'll give it a 7 (which is good for me), although it might go down as time passes by. I enjoyed it nonetheless. |

| I really liked this story overall, but the ending is what really held me back from rating this a 9, absolutely HATED the ending. The "ok, we worked up all this romance just to say peace out at the end" crap. Other people might have enjoyed the emo ending but I really think that with all the shit the main characters went through, they should deserve a happily ever after together. EDIT:rated it a 7 overall |

| The first time I watched through the anime and viewed the ending I was less mad and a lot more sad. It felt as if someone had ripped a whole through my young, adolescent heart (excuse me for the melodramatics >.>). But after another dozen more views the ending grew on me, and I have come to the conclusion that no other ending could have fit more perfectly than this one. Happy endings may be more satisfying but the sad ones are so much more epic. 9/10 :] |

| There are huge holes in the plot thats true. But only if you played the VN. But if you did you know the answers in that holes.So its basically the same :) The only totaly lame unreasonable thing that happened in the anime is for Caster to control Sakura.If you have played the visual Novel you would have know that its imposible. But still if you havent played it nothing will surprize you there. Also anime gives a lot of hints that you CANT observe if you watched it 1 or 2 times. For example i think at episode 10 it shows Illyas father. Guess who he is :) Also it gives hints about Rin and Sakura relationship. @Turkeimeister: What you say is just Nonsense.Sorry about that.But its true. People rate animes differently.You might thing Fate/Stay Night deserves a 7 but i dont. Its my all time favourite anime and no other anime managed to keep me that "intrigued" in the story for 24 eps.Also the fights were awesome. Anyways i wont argue with you if you think it deserves a 5 or 6.I dont care either.But it common logic for everyone to rate 10 what he likes the most.I have watched over 100 titles and most of the famous out there but still FSN is my only 10/10. |

| Scored 7 overall By and large a pretty decent anime, taken as 2 halves, the last half of the show was substantially better then the first half, I was getting very annoyed with Emiya for those first episodes as he seemed almost irredeemably stupid, however he sorts himself out towards the end so all is forgiven :-D Far from a perfect anime, however it has made me want to check out the VN, there were lots of hints about peoples backstories thrown around that were rarely explored in any depth, Rins past with Sakura for example, or how (and why!) Caster became so attached to her master after having killed her first one. Action scenes were very good and once things got going there was some good watching to be had. So yeah. a 7. |

| Oh no ,its over ; ( For me the first half of the show was more exciting than the last half. I even would enjoyed this show without that Gilgamesh King. The romance between Saber and Shirou fell a bit short in my opinion. At the End I had nearly wet eyes,but I prefer happy ends. Nevertheless a well made ending even if it made me a bit sad. I expected that one servant would be re-summoned,but that didn't happen. Score will be a 8 of 10 |

| I dont realy liked the ending as i realy like the Saber Charakter, as she progress thru to get her unveal her emotions... man i would love to see a happy ending for her as she realy earned one! but overall iam fine with that ending as it fitted to the plot but still i cant be objective as i said, Saber :3 well i gave it a 9, cause i enjoyed nearly every minute of it! |

Emiya was really annoying for the first half, and generally the show was a bit dragged, average at best. Then with, if I remember right, episode 11 things started to get interesting and ended up Epic as hell. Well ya, it all comes down to bad pacing. | I enjoyed this series so much, but was so sad at the ending. Saber had really grown on me and I just wanted a happier ending for her. It'll take me a while to get over this one. |

| I really loved this series. The first half, as most have said, was soo slow and boring but after about episode 15 I REALLY got into it! I still have a ton of unanswered questions (Sakura and Rin relationship, Emiya's magical abilities..) but as I've read through these posts it looks like most of them are answered in the VN. The ending was great! I figured there wouldn't be a happy ending for Saber anyway but I loved every bit of the last episode! 10/10 from me! |

| Was a good show, a solid 7/10, Saber was very bad-ass in my opinion, best character in the show. There was a lot that I felt was left out so I'm eventually going to have to play the visual novel and its sequel because I want to see where things go from here. |

| Would have been better if they made the anime follow the unlimited blade works route. I still dun get to see Shiro use it even at the end. The ending battle was just crappy, but im rating it a 9 because for a cliche storyline and stuff it was executed pretty well and the animation aint bad. |
| the series is great...love the storyline. i was really sad when archer died, to the point that i almost cried XD. its a pity that shirou and saber didnt end up together....i wish they end up together.....TT^TT |
