| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Chibi Natsu's!! XD Wow! Gildarts was EPIC! & Go Natsu! Finally a new OP & ED. :) Both vary nice. ^^ Looks like Juvia and Lisanna are having a hard time beating Erza. Not surprised at all. Lucy and Kana swimmming. x3 looked like so much funz. lol This was probably one of the best episodes of FT ever. |

| ...I love Fairy Tail. Simple as that! I knew Natsu wasn't going to win against Gildarts, but the way it ended was so...epic. But I do believe Juvia could win against Erza if she tries hard enough. I have no faith in Elfman whatsoever. Sorry. I have no idea how he is a candidate. Sorry if I offended any Elfman fans. The new OP is really cool, many things yet to be explained. 10/10 I need it to be next friday now! |

| Really great Episode, I lol'ed my ass off at the Chibi Natsu's that was so much more funnier in the anime than in the manga xD. I liked the OP and ED songs they used, though Im a fan of the ED song much more than the OP. |

| Amazing episode...Gildarts vs Natsu was awesome and I really like the chibi Natsu's... We also see the fight Juvia-Lisanna vs Erza and the begining of Elfman-Evergreen vs Mirajane(I feel sorry for Elfman) The new OP and ED were really nice... I can't wait for the next episode.... |
| So unlike Natsu to get that scard! Although Gildarts is a monster, so can't blame him too much. I was hoping Natsu would equal Gildarts aura with fire instead of surrendering, but oh well. |

| Definiatly looks like the animation is stepping up for this arc.That's good,I'm kinda hoping for animation that's as good as the Phantom Lord Arc or the Tower Of Heaven Arc.As for the new OP and ED,the OP was good I guess but I'm still waiting for Gajeel to get his own ED. |
| Loved this episode, was waiting for it ever since I read the chapter in the manga. :P OP song by itself is really good, but I just feel it doesn't fit Fairy Tail at all. It seems to out of place. Other than that a perfect episode. :P |

| Great episode! Seeing Natsu that scared/crushed after Gildarts released his power makes me feel kind of bad for him. Though I must stay Gildarts is still a BAMF. |

| HAHA chibi Natsu attacking Gildarts was funny....but Natsu lost but still got to go foward...Just goes to show you how strong Gildarts really is...And Juvia/ Lissana vs. Erza...I think thats a possible win...and Elfman/Everygreen vs Mirajane? Possibly??? I mean I guess Mirajane can still be a ditz and she is going against her younger brother.. The new opening is pretty cool...Theres a guy on there that looks sorta similar to Himekawa from Beelzebub...but I only got a glimpse of him...but I do sense a bigger fight coming...Theres also that one guy that wherever he goes something/one dies..seems like a cool arc coming up. |

| Lol damn this was great episode but atm im still complete in rage with FT...not the anime(not yet atleast) but the way the manga went this week...thats all ill say but when i see that part animated no doubt imma be smackin some babies. Anyways great episode and once again Gildarts is absolutely kickass. |

| I don't read the manga but I think a lot of people underestimate Erza when saying Juvia and Lisanna can beat her. I don't think she's a S class wizard just for show, you know. |

| Lisanna's magic doesn't seem usable for battle.. All those animals do not have any fighting capability at all, but more supportive in terms of transportation and ... probably something else. If she was fighting against an enemy, her weak melee attacks and slow speed is practically useless. There are very few spoilers in the opening since you only see the new characters, but not what they are doing or what happened. So it's all good there. I'm surprised Natsu had so much screentime in the opening though, since in the story he didn't get any more than what he usually gets in other arcs. I thought the Gildarts flashback will include that part about the |

| Thank God they didn't have Natsu win by some stupid deux ex machina shit.... Although, it was still predictable that he wouldn't be "eliminated".... I'm still pissed off about the previous episode, it's so fucking ridiculous to let someone win on purpose, and it makes no sense whatsoever... Also, what the fuck is the point of having Happy as Natsu's partner, as much as I like him, he was UTTERLY USELESS against Gildarts. |

| this episode was hilarious. i do wish that they would extend the fight for erza vs juvia and mirajane vs elfman. i wonder what they're going to do, this is gonna catch up to the manga in no time. |

| Lot's a fan service again. which i don't mind at all. Elfman ending up with Mira as enemy didn't come as a surprise tho it does seem like a interesting fight. And i wonder how Juvia's and Erza's battle will go. |

| First character development for Natsu since the beginning of the show ;P (but I like him nonetheless ;)) Gildartz magic is just...wow xD I'm really hoping for Mirajane vs Elfman/Evergreen fight - it wasn't shown in the manga, which is even greater reason to do it in the anime :D As for new OP and ED - opening song isn't my type of music and it just doesn't fit FT :( We need more Funkist!! Ending is much much better ^^ |
| I would have liked to have seen the battle between; Mira, Elman and Evergreen; these three minors are amungst my favourites. Perhaps it'll get shown next week? If not, what a waste, but nevermind.:( The youngster not one-upping the established adult charcter simply because he's the main is a great thing... How often do we see teenagers beating adults who, at times, have been in combat since before the youth was born, simply for plot purposes; as if the older characters age and added experience ment nothing. I also liked Gildarts not simply accepting that he's past it and this is the next gen', as many older characters do (student becomes master). Natsu's realisation that he had pretty much lost is also a great thing; it shows he's not too; irrational, arrogant or patronising. Happy needs to get to grips with shounen law; main almost characters never die and nobody dies in peaceful times. :P (that's a joke for all those over serious people) ;) The mini-Natsu's reminded me of Naruto's shodow clone spam; annoying. 5/5 episode. |

| The gap between Natsu and the S class wizards just seems too ridiculously large for my tastes. I liked how Natsu was humbled and realized his own weakness. But I would think Natsu could at least apply pressure to the S class wizards when he fights seriously at this point. |
