The ending was sad but satisfying. I guess he found the answer he was searching for in the end.
What confuses me is how the first Chairman is alive? Didn't his dick get bitten off? And what the hell happened to the real Hishiko (not the one in the dream)?
Well, that was ironic to say the least, he wanted to be apart from civilization for so long only to end up wanting to stay in the end(I think he wanted to stay with the girl in his head). He says in an earlier chapter that he thought the girl was dead, so she is dead, so is the chairman he died a few chapters back the girl said so. I think it is sad but i failed to grasp the whole meaning of the end, he seemed more happy in his "dream" than he would be in "reality" so in a sense it could be a happy ending. By the way, he killed eight people? Maybe he murdered his mother she seemed to try and stop him, and perhaps some other people on the island, i found it odd that the chairman and him had knowledge of a gun being in that box while the girl didn't, and he did speak of the "others" being weak. Besides the sex scenes i enjoyed this manga.
This is what happens when dream and reality get mixed up to a point that everything becomes convoluted and fucked up. For a short read it was very satisfying. This reminds me of Fight Club in some way.
