Now you bloodshed lovers can't complain, there was a headshot and a total of four deaths in this ep!!! Lol. Satoko finally doing something useful is good, and it looks like the White Van People (not to be confused with Party Van) will finally have some more input. Poor emo Rika :( |
| yup good episode looks like it has begun the true Higurashi why did i get the feeling that Satako was gonna go Home Alone on the people following her also they never gave Keichii his double punishment i just want to hug rika when she was talking about just not doing anything since nothing will change |

| Finally it's starting. That was a really good episode, and it was nice to see Satoko doing something, and seeing her resolve for protecting Rika. Those white van guys are freaks, i wonder what they're planning to do... And... NEEDS MORE BLOODSHED!!! |

| This series is set to have 26 episodes right? Its moving a little slow for me. 4 episodes and we haven't got to the good stuff yet?! (not that seeing Rika say "Ni-Pah" is bad =P) Anyways, a very suspenseful episode. Especially toward the end because I was watching this at 2 in the morning. |

| OH YES! I feel the show getting ratcheted up a couple of notches. I am I the only who cringes whenever Rika says that she is going to die? Gives me the creeps every time. She looks so work out from all the dying! She must be thinking, 'just kill me already!' ugh. can't wait for ep 5!  |

| It has only 24 episodes though. XD Now, I want to know more about those van people. As far I think, I think they're worker for the quarry and dam, as in their uniforms it's the same. And to think of it, they're really trained for the job as in for mafia jobs. |

| You know, I used to think Rika knew all that was going on. Now it seems as if she almost just as lost as everyone else. He has a power. And it has to do with being a Shrine Maiden, and Hanyuu, and being able to remember past(alternate pocket dimension?) events. But she's a lot more powerless than I thought she was. Yeah that was something I realized last episode. But that's becoming more and more clear. It's really taken me this episode to realize really just how powerless Furude Rika is. |

| I thought that this was a pretty boring episode. It completely lacked the whole Higurashi creepy feeling that I'e grown accustom to and it didn't reveal anything new either. I hope the next episode makes up for it. |

The killer gas appears next episode xD And from the preview, I'm guessing Satoko will be the sole sorvivor this time... ~Hauu No Hanyuu in this episode :( Yay! The White-Van people are back! This time better armed though ^^ But still...they haven't shown how did Takano was "murdered"... btw this season's ending theme song reminds me alot of Fate/stay Night's soundtracks. |

| LMAO "I wet myself... ~nyaa~" Also, Satoko is starting to break. Betrayal really is a bitch. Looks like the shit is about to break loose, which is a good thing because this season is honestly not dark enough yet. I find it funny how Rika and Satoko's position just flipped in an instant. Ah, I just love the random henchmen from the white van too. Where do they come from? Why are they there? The world may never know. Seeing this from Rika's point of view, Higurashi really is insane. With some parts from previous arcs playing out in different arcs in different scenarios, anybody would go crazy in that kind of environment. Hard to believe Rika has memories of everything that has happened and is still basically sane (although she seems to be cracking a bit). |

| Hmm looks like we'll see some more interaction from those van peoples, wonder who they and exactly what their intentions is. Probably some government-military co-op cover up, they seems to be fond of doing those sort of things, at least if you look how common theme that is in books, movies games etc ;P Poor sad Rika really hope she survives, though seeing this is just the first arc and 4th episode I think it's safe to say she wont =/ |

| Waaaah, I really like this portrayal of Rika and Satoko's relationship!! I didn't feel for them very much at ALL in the first season, but I'm feeling more and more connected to them! I liked how Rika dashed right out of the ceremony when it was finished and found Tomitake... but she ultimately feels defeated no matter how hard she wants the changes. I felt like I was expecting a little something different when they snipped the frayed thread, too, but the pattern is repeating itself... And as for those guys in the van/shooting the police officer guy, I am so interested to find out how they're all connected in this. Also, with people complaining that it's slow or uninteresting so far, I don't know. I didn't really feel the slowness until this episode. I mean, I still wanted something cool/scary/gory to happen, but I feel like these past few episodes after opening with a serious, informative one were to allow us to get settled back in with the characters and the feeling of Hinamizawa once again. But even though I'm noticing the slowness now, I'm not horribly bothered by it, and the next episode looks promising. :3 |
