I just remembered that highschoolers in anime still use magazines and dvds for their intimate needs. What the fuck? One can really see the lack of imagination that goes into making some of these shows.

I can't want ecchi anime. Some animes are fun and entertaining to watch but when too much chests and butts are shown, I just can't continue watching it. It's a little disturbing and besides my PC's situated in the living room, so yeah, mom and dad would see it. XD

That's why anime like that is made for rich otaku who can afford to have TVs in their bedroom.

hahahaha I laughed so hard XD especially the "Kono bangumi wa, goran no sponsa teikyou de okurishimasu."

But what I usually dislike in anime's is some of the art styles x_x if I don't like the art I really can't watch it..

Edit : What I also find wierd is that all the blond people in anime are foreigners, usually from France. But it's totally normal to have pink/purple/blue/green hair?!

When has any hair color been implied as being not totally normal to have in anime? In anime with rainbow hair colors there's no comments about green hair being anymore abnormal to have then blonde hair. Also all blonde people are not foreigners but well exaggerations must be made.

I can define what I don't like most right now is Itsuka Tenma. The main character is pathetic, the love triangle doesn't have that spark of love interest when you compare it to Shakugan no Shana, and the Mahou Shoujo gets whatever she wants...

I'm awaiting the 720p release of the final ep, and after I'm done with it, I'll throw myself a celebration within my mind congratulating I survived a pathetic series. xD

I will have a list.

1. Animes that repeat the same basic scenes over and over again.
2. Animes that the protagonist looks like he is going to get killed by baddie, and then he pulls out a power that was never mentioned in the anime, and uses said power to kill that guy. I get the hinting and all, but honestly, sometimes it feels like the authors just throw it in there, trying to hint but it's so stupid anyway
3. Fan Service
4. Stupid protagonists that alway realizes things too late. Always.
5. Rushed endings, even if they make sense, but c'mon! They rushed it!
6. Animes which the idea has already been done before... And altered abit so it looks unique (Failing there)
7. Seiyuus that don't even sound like the character
8. Seiyuus' voice doesn't match the character's emotion or mood of scene, espescially dubs.
9. The fact that one anime episode comes out only once a week, when I am dying to know what happened.
10. Animes that drag on
11. Animes that has too much explaining and not enough action or such.
12. Animes that has little children who scream and cry alot (Irrational, I know, but I am constantly surrounded by kids like that and do not need to see more.)
13. Animes that just drive off course off their awesome Manga counterparts, and then they end up crashing and with a horrible new plot. It's ok if they end up similarly to the manga, like the main point is across, but just changing EVERYTHING ruins it.
14. Animes that cut out the funny bits in mangas, and don't even attempt to put in some new ones.
15. Animes which protagonists are hopelessly useless, moan, bitch, whine and don't attempt anything.
16. Horrible art and studios. There is always one that waltzes in and ruins a perfectly good plot and such.

I would love to post more, but cannot be bothered.

There are a few things that can make me dislike a certain aspects of a certain show, but if there is something in common in ALL anime that I keep seeing again and again and really makes my blood boil, it is the following.

Female-to-male violence is regarded as perfectly natural, whereas male-to-female violence is condemned really strongly (although, it almost never happens). If a girl beats up a guy it is always presented as justified as if the guy must have somewhat deserved it (like, for example he saw her naked by accident, or failed to recognize her feelings). The show usually goes out of its way to show that the girl is "in the right" for hitting him and makes the guy seem like a jerk, whereas the girl is always pure and faultless. Of course, she will be never made to apologize or admit that she was wrong or receive some comeuppance for her violent behavior. It's like the girls are always flawless or even if they have flaws, they will still be vastly morally superior then the male characters.

The reason this bothers me is that basically this robs the male characters of their dignity. Even if the beating is done for humorous purposes and the guy is not injured physically, his pride is still injured and he ends up looking like a pansy in my eyes and the eyes of everyone else. That is one of the reasons why male characters in general are much more unlikeable than female ones lately. It's already gotten to the point where it's hard to find a single new show with respectable male characters. Try to think of a single recent show in which the men are morally superior - of course, you will never find one, since it will immediately be labelled as "sexist", whereas the opposite happens all the time and nobody pays it any heed.

For this reason, it's really gotten much harder for me to enjoy anime in recent years, since this annoying trend started getting way more common after 2000.

Unique as in that sort of content happening generally within anime/manga but not in similar domestic(assuming you aren't Japanese) media like cartoons/comic books.

I find it funny that that one guy said the industry is lazy yet he cant be bothered to make his posts readable.

I really hate the huge aversion to killing characters have in anime. Seriously just pull the trigger and freak out about it later.

Something i hate about anime as a whole is that its almost always trying to force feed you some message. I watch an anime and the message i get might be friendship is power or stand up for what you believe. I watch say 24 and the message i get is that Jack Bauer (sp?) is a badass and thats it.

I dont like when fan service ruins a dramatic scene. If someone is running to their dying friend and their boobs jiggle a bit thats fine. If the camera zooms in on her tits in the same situation that is not fine.

I dont really get much out of fan service but it does make me happy knowing that there are plenty of girls feeling uncomfortable while watching those giant tits bounce up and down.

I HATE fighting spirit or anything similar. Im supposed to believe the villain who is willing to murder innocents doesnt have a strong conviction.

i hate the lack of non supernatural based combat. There is some like samurai champloo but its just so rare.

I hate the lack of decent war animes. Something where the MC doesnt mind killing the enemy. I have to give props to code geass for not having any pacifist soldiers.

I hate how when someone gains a specific super power they also somehow become vastly stronger and more durable then normal humans even if it makes no sense. Just cause you can shoot fireballs doesnt mean your bones are stronger.

I hate how many damn ambiguous endings there are. If i wanted to make up my own ending i wouldnt have bothered watching the show to begin with.

I hate when animes almost shows you boobs throughout the whole series and then never do. Like recently i was watching Soukou no Strain and they almost show you the MC's boobs but never do. They even show other characters boobs.

I dont like how anime is usually not the original work. Sometimes it practically feels like a demo for the manga.

Females.

This is why I have trouble stomaching tsundere anime.
Guy standing talking to friend. Girl trips over nothing and lands ass first on his face. She beats the shit of out him for "looking at her panties."
Bitch if you go around wearing a miniskirt why the fuck don't you wear spanks underneath?!

Hen Zemi anime brought up a good point about skirts and undies. Why do [anime] women wear them the way they do? Panties are a very thin material protecting a 'precious' area. Yet girls wear short skirts. And when they sit down, it's only the panties blocking the object the sat on to their hooch. Common sense would dictate that you'd wear more to protect 'precious' areas. But they don't.

Because they subconsciously want people to see their 'precious' area. Otherwise, they'd wear spanks, trousers, shorts, gym uniform---not a thin piece of material.

On that note, females are never on their period. 1 out of 4 weeks would give probability that the panty flash would show some 'wings' or the onsen would not happen.

Not sure if this is loli but I really, really hate when a serious or just well drawn anime throws in ridiculously cartoonish drawings for comic relief. Really gets on my nerves something fierce. Only example I can think of off the top of my head is Hellsing Ultimate where there are multiple scenes with Seras where the art gets cartoony for no reason in a serious anime.

1) I seriously hate flashbacks about moments you've just seen and have in memory.
2) Also, I hate when someone does an epic combo move and then starts to explain how he did it and when he learnt it.. that just sucks.
3) Next annoying thing is childish explaining of things whose are so simple to understand and they're so obvious since the first moment.

Totally with you.
I appreciate your precision, as I just label said characers 'bad' tsundere's'; bad tsundere's seem to make up roughly 95% of them.
There was a boom in them after 21st century, which just shows that the characer type is pretty much a 'tried, tested and apporved' writers tool that is mimmiced to oblivion simply because it sells.

Basically, girls are irratic; they can't express themselves properly or regulate there emmotions, they want to say something yet barley open their gobs on their subject and expect the males to simply figure them out, they loiter around the male character and carry's on as if he's stressfull to be around when frankly, she's the one who could find something better to do.
Yet because famales are 'fragile' creatures, this is normal and acceptable?
The girl behaves in a manner a male character wouldn't even be allowed to display breifly without being 'put in his place', yet she's never so much as told off; if ever she feels she's done anything wrong, all she needs to do is pull a sad face or cry, and all is resolved.

It's quite annoying when a girl is placed in a series where she is suppose to be an equal (eg. a shounen fighting series), yet there's still a matter of 'stepping on eggshells' when facing off against her, dealing with her in a suttle manner and protecting her - this goes hand in hand with females ranting and assaulting males, they're just not equals, therefore, being bratty is fine - the bloke can deal with it and has no choice but to do so - if a male were to retaliate (or even attempt to) to a ladies actions, their will be a flood of complaints (has happened before, eg. Tenjou Tenge manga or that Melencholy series I can't stand).

The worst part of all is, it seems writers, not just in anime, but in all media products (movies, series's, books) resort to creating these type of know-it-all, stroppy females simply bacause it's pretty much 'the norm'.
When watching an interview with Tom Hanks (who was promoting his film with Julia Roberts) he stated that many male writers just create grumpy females - I was glad he said this - I remember the writer of Naruto in an interview stated that Sakura is 'just a typical girl', I though, "Really? Who did you grow up with?".

'Comic violence', 90% of the time simply boils down to 'girl beats boy' it's now the equivalant of a western cartoon using toilet humor - both are often irrelivant to the plot, require little immagination, take up a bit of time and space and gain a cheap laugh out of the audience.

(Sorry to turn this into a political report) ;)

Ok I guess my terminology is wrong, hence my starting with "Not sure if this is loli but". I am talking about when they make Seras look like this in the middle of a scene for no reason:

Or worse:

Hi
The above you have pictured is just comic exaggeration, used for comic releif purposes.
Loli (in the spoiler) is a delibrate attempt to make a character as; pretty, cutsie and youthful as possible.

The word is ment to be based on 'Lolita'; a book about a man having an affair with a promiscuos underage girl; infusing sexuality+innocence.

Ok, I was not sure if there was an actual name for inserting this type comedic art into an anime where the art is otherwise totally different....really do hate when they do that.
