| I started this anime and then manga partially because it seemed such an over the top, zany premise that I couldn't possibly not be curious, and partially because I've for years been sick of the guys in media, especially anime, being treated as the "perverts"(see: sexual beings), while females are these innocent or catty asexual things. A story about lusty female sex demons who sleep with thousand of men in their harem in order to survive and enjoy life? Sounds like a deeply enjoyable breath of fresh air, wild abandon, of a high degree, even. Incredibly femdom and matriarchal and covered in obtrusive, omni-present female sexuality and perversion and inverse Victorian morals? That's just what the world needs. What do we get? All of the former stereotypes. This is getting boring and annoying. |
