| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- every time I see Jigoro it just makes me hate him and pity Yawara more, though it was nice to see him brought down a peg at the end (not that it'll last) the new girl seems a bit intense, kinda wondering if the second youth thing is a reference to a sex change, plastic surgery or a really bad high school experience (though considering the time period, I'm betting on bad high school experience). |
| After the first half gave us another potentially good Yawara x Matsuda scene only to have it ruined by whatsherface and turn into frustration, I was reminded why I took almost 2 weeks break from the show. However the second half introducing new characters and all was pretty fun and if it continues like this it might be easier for me to get over the lack of any character development in this show. I really hope we do get to see the guys from the mixer again, especially Tak-kun. I can't be the only shipping him with Yawara's new bff after that awkward applause scene ^^. Also the 'cliffhanger' at the end of the episode was hilarious xD. |
