I didn't notice before. A week behind for the secondary subbers, though? Damn. I'm already 2-3 episodes behind on Hakuoki because the people who do that are really slow. *Sighs* Oh well. Yakumo seems it will follow... and on the last episodes, too. :( |

| Yeah its a total bummer when someone says they will sub a series and then drop it before its done, but i still appreciate all the fansub groups for subbing and for putting up with ppl like me that are always looking for to the next release so impatiently :) |

| *sigh* I'm starting to get annoyed. I can't find a single subbed one. I absolutely love this show and for it to get low ratings it really heartbreaking! If anyone finds a subbed one... 'by chance' can you PM me where? And it was getting to the good part! And I agree with Iilia, Hakuouki is an awesome anime and should be subbed on the correct date! ;-; Why did they change the eps from 12 down to 10?! |

That said, be a little more patient here, I remember the good old times before CR and the thousand rip groups that can speedsub because they don't really have to translate at all. Remember groups like a.f.k. who would take months and months to sub one miserable episode? As for the reason there's not enough subgroups I invite you to look at any show done by SHAFT, especially Sayonara Zetsubou SEnsei, and try to find any subgroup willing to sub it. The case isn't whether it sucks or not. It has more to do with how complicated the translation is or how hard/easy it is to get raws. Shows that streaming sites already sub are obviously done by a LOT of subbers because they can just rip the translation and just add their own raw with a few fixes to the script. As a summary, there's just not enough real fansub groups as a whole. There's just a bunch of encoders who steal the scripts from legal sites. The actual old-school fansubbers who haven't retired are stressed thin over the several shows that weren't picked up by streamer websites so of course there will be several shows with merely one or two groups. |

| I thought they were going back to the regular episodic... episodes, but I guess not (which is better). Sad about Yakumo's uncle though. I feel bad for Yakumo in that sense too--- since he's going to lose another family member. Yakumo's baby pictures were adorable though. xD |

You're right, we're all just very impatient and spoiled anime fans who like to complain about having to wait a few extra days for an episode to come out. ;) I don't remember any days of having to wait months simply because I wasn't around back then. This "fall season" of anime is pretty much my first time watching (subbed, not dubbed) anime as it airs rather than waiting for the show to finish or watching completed shows from a while back (like I used to do). Even so, I realize that these things take time and I really do appreciate that there are groups of people out there who take the time to sub anime for cheap and somewhat impatient people like myself. |

| Hey question what is CR stand for in this case? Oh and by the way i downloaded all the eps available of this show from FFFpeeps and re-watched them and they do really good subs. With a show like this that is kinda complicated and has mysteries all over the place having subs that are not very good makes it harder to understand whats going on. So i recommend checking out their subs if anybody is lost about something. Oh and i love this show this is one of my faves this season, along with Kuragahime. |

It's the short hair and the boyish clothing that deceives you. About this episode there is no other word to describe it then great. I really enjoyed watching it. It was very romantic yet sad and also filled with wisdom, Yakumo's uncle is a very wise and kind man. The way he talked to that girl was very impressive not only did he cheer her up but he also gave her hope. And he is also a very strong person accepting the fact that he is dying, for most people that would be a huge shock yet he remained calm and composed. |

Thanks for the clarification on that. :) Eps 10 finally out and i love those baby pics, what a cutie! Does anybody know why Yakumo wanted to leave before they were done looking at them? was he embarrassed? Yeah and that Nao in earlier subs they called him a "he" but now its a "she" i thought back to that eps with the new cardigan and figured she must be a girl if she wanted Yakumo to notice it. Maybe they should put a bow in her hair or something to help us out here lol she is really cute tho! |
| personally, i felt that this was the best episode so far out of this average anime. although the episode lacked in supernatural, i was impressed with isshin's words of wisdom and found the baby pictures heartwarming. i also liked how the episode focused so much on isshin since i always felt that he was one of the few smart people in this anime (sometimes, i feel that haruka's stupidity rubs off to other people in this show). this anime clearly fails in the supernatural department compared to other anime (at least for me). its strong points are emotions and relationships between people. but sadly, the supernatural aspect sometimes ruins the show making it average and predictable. since the last few episodes will focus on isshin (one of my favorite characters), i'm hoping that the anime will redeem itself. if no one displays any stupidity and the supernatural stuff isn't exaggerated, i have a lot of hope in the next couple episodes. |

| after 5 days of delay, we have subs. Okay, this episode, despite no action, is very good. No kidding. Now we're focusing on Isshin and his only year left and now we know who's behind it... This series may redeem itself possibly. 9/10. |

The guy with white hair and wearing a black jacket also has red eyes like Yakumo. He knows Yakumo well because (from what I understand) he is Yakumo's father. The guy who was a spirit and was in love with Azusa, was his mother's fiance and Never mind I misunderstood. It's all up in the air really, but the truth lies behind the origin of the red eye they share. |

| It's a shame about Ishiin. Why is Yakumo's father even bothering to kill a dying man? Seems like a waste of effort. The little girl crying over her impending death hit me close to home too. :( |

| I screamed when i saw the subs this morning. Very touching episodes and the pictures of yakumo's childhood were precious. My favorite was at the very end when he his mother and her fiance were in the same picture. A sleeping yakumo :D is a yakumo i like ;D |
| It was a good episode - very cute and definitely worth the wait. I'll be sad to see Isshin go since he's really the only family Yakumo's got left (discounting Nao). Looks like that reporter woman is bringing Yakumo work too now. Weird, they never did really clarify what was happening with that spirit in the beginning... I think maybe that girl in the wheel chair was actually the "spirit," but the whole thing really didn't make much sense. Quite a few people seem to dislike Haruka. I suppose she does have a few quirks that could annoy people, but I don't think she's a bad character. I like her. Lastly, Yakumo's dad (and Miyuki) are just terrible villains. They might even be as bad as Kiraboshi from Star Driver. |

| This show, with this kind of episode (so slow, emotional and existentialist), do you believe it will finish on 3 chapters more? My answer is no, definitely. If "Rainbow" was 26 episodes, why not Yakumo does? I pray for a second season. :) |

| This episode was brilliant. Poor Isshin, why he has to die, he's one of my favorites. Isshin was great talking with Yoshiko and giving her hope and even making her befriend with Nao. I hope that she will get a transplant. After the incident Yakumo seems more friendly now with everyone. Yakumo's dad wants to kill Isshin so he can draw Yakumo to the darkness. The doctor looked to be interested in Isshin. Yakumo was cute when he was little even if his eyes were big. |

| Am I the only one who kinda lol's every time Yakumo grabs his face like an idiot? Oh! New infortmation! Must palm my face (not to be confused with facepalm) in order to absorb these details! This show's attempts at making moments dramatic just make it funny instead. Too bad about creating a new arc. This show works better in episodic format, in my opinion. At least after the last major climax that ended up being a sad fizzle of a conclusion. Having said that, Yoshiko is the best character this anime has had so far. I want to see more of her =[ |

| I think this was one of the best episodes yet. Might be because Haruka wasn't in it so much (but that doesn't mean she didn't act stupid and dense while she was around). Still I'd wish they'd get to the whole point of this! Even though this was a set up episode, why not give us a better hint as to what Yakumo's father wants?! And I'm sure Isshin dying is another way of getting Yakumo to turn to the dark side or whatever. Which is kind of retarded if you ask me. But whatever. |

| Well no real development in the mystery I suppose. Nice episode focussing on Isshin though, I do quite like him. A tad slow on the whole conversation with the girl though Yakumo looks really weird in the pictures, maybe I'm just used to him now? XD Anyway, hopefully the plot picks up ... and it ends on a high note :P |
