Anyone else think the dance Miyuki was doing at the end looked funny?

Kaoru is related to the Kingdom of Sweets somehow, I'll bet. He's even running a sweets business.

Anyway, I always appreciate it when the villains take the protagonists seriously enough to try to nip them in the bud. They went straight for the kill once they found out there will be a fourth Cure after awhile.

This episode was freaking hilarious, the comedy was so on point both using Buki's new skill to talk with animals (the talk with the hamster felt straight from Saiki Kusuo xD) and Wester... being Wester. Kaoru should be the 4th Precure heh.

The fight vs the enemies was solid and nicely animated, man this show is amazing so far.

Heh so Inori is basically Eliza Thornberry.

Certain things are amusing about this episode and the preview for it knowing that

Love is really good at the crane game! Or that's a really forgiving crane game.

When Inori started talking to the hamster, I was wishing hard that it would end up being a jerk, and then it happened and I was really happy. This animal talking gimmick turned out to be surprisingly fun.

Fresh Precure seems to spend a lot less time compared to previous Precure entries with school activities, and there's no love interest going around introducing romance drama. Instead, many episodes thus far have been dedicated to random antics and just general messing around with magical nonsense. Also, Labyrinth seem more lax compared to previous villains, as well as having better group chemistry. It took some getting used to, but I think I'm fine with these changes. It's hard to qualify, but Fresh feels more "modern" in terms of anime standards, which is probably why it felt awkwardly recognizable in terms of its aesthetics and mannerisms.
