And so ends Fresh Pretty Cure. I myself was robbed of happiness. Love didn't give Daisuki an answer T-T That is only thing preventing it from getting a 9 in my book. Series was overall amazing, the last 10 eps we're pretty good. Think I'll chalk this up as my second favorite Pretty Cure Series. Setsuna <3

Solid 8/10

I thought this was a solid series much better compared to other Precure, yet it doesn't seems to take much of credit. I liked how they took a sci-fi direction with this one but they could have dedicate more episodes to focus more on Labyrinth. Even at the middle of the series you could not tell that the villains were ones of sci-fi nature, so the whole sci-fi theme felt a little abrupt.

Only things I didn't like was the annoying Chiffon that was the main plot device and how Souler and Wester were resurrected. Them as dead/deleted would have been a more dramatic plot twist.

I guess the very main flaw of this series were those battles, they were terrible animated. Other than that, good fun.

Welp, Fresh Precure! was definitely the most character-driven Precure I've watched thus far, as well as the most uplifting.

Despite their superficial similarities, it's nice to see how each Precure goes for a different thematic emphasis and a different approach to tackling their themes. It gives each iteration its own unique tone, which shows the most obviously in their endings even though it tends to be pretty clear early on.

Given that it's really no wonder why Precure fans all seem to have very different ideas as to which version they prefer the most.

Fresh and its characters will all be fondly remembered. Woo~

Mfw no answer for Daisuke; being in love with Love hurts, man.

Shameless copypasta from what I wrote in the O/U club:

This was another really good entry to the Precure franchise; it's pretty crazy how similar yet different each season is, and I feel pretty lucky to have watched three seasons in a row that I either ended up liking or loving. The more calm, SOL-ish atmosphere of the series made for a very pleasant watch, and while it kinda lacked the "punch" or explosive energy that you'll find in my favorite seasons (Smile and Heartcatch), the very solid character writing and the very likeable main cast largely made up for it. Fresh also introduced me to two of my favorite Cures to date: Love and Setsuna. Setsuna in particular turned out to be an extremely touching character with perhaps the most interesting backstory and character arc I've seen in a Precure yet.
Only thing I regret is that the show was so aesthetically unpleasant and below the bar on the animation front. It would've definitely enhanced the experience immensly if it had even a quarter of Go! Princess or Heartcatch's visual appeal. It really deserved better ;_;

In any case, I'd give it a solid 7.5/10, that I may or may not round up to an 8 if I ever get around to rewatching the series.

Poor Daisuke getting trolled there, my boy doesn't deserve this! But it's ok, they are meant to eventually end together n_n

Another fantastic entry of this wonderful franchise, I loved the cast a ton and I will miss them. Wester and Kaoru are definitely two of the best Precure side characters I have seen so far, and Tarte-Chiffon the best duo together with Harry-Hugtan from Hugtto. The main four girls delivered hard too, the only one I wasn't that big about by the end of the series was Miki, I loved the other three.

9.5/10 from my part, I had a blast with it, one entry closer to the emptiness after Precure q_q

Series was overall amazing, the last 10 eps we're pretty good. The final episode is solid and makes me hope for future series after Fresh.

Now it's time to watch Heartcatch - me from 2010

This season is so underrated in the Precure Fandom, maybe because they judge just by seeing the animation style which is quite bad sometimes. But anyway It's a 9/10 for me.

I'm going to give this installment an 8,5/10. All is perfect, the transformations, the characters, the development, the feelings that were sent. But it lacked a thing that made Pretty Cure possible, the physical fights, they are pretty short and pretty little brutal. I haven't liked that at all

She promised Daisuke an answer when she got back then skips out on giving her answer. What a bitch. She should be thankful he's even interested in her at all. It's not like other guys are lined up to date her. The only other thing that likes her is Chiffon. Love's basically the main villain of the show, toying with Daisuke's heart like that.
