| I'm pretty sure the reasons for ending the anime are: 1. The anime got preeeetty dang close to the manga, like literally right on its coat tails. 2. The anime goes a lot quicker than the manga, and with the amount of fillers needed to wait for the next arc to end in the manga/it to get far enough ahead would be huge 3. Possibly/maybe the viewer count in japan went down and so they had to end it. Hecks yeah I wanna see the inheritance arc animated, but I also don't want to sacrifice the quality of the show and have it go back to being a filler-every-other-episode kinda thing (not that it ever was, but I don't think that that is as enjoyable as it following the story, ne?) I just hope when they restart the anime (if they do) they make it as best they can, and maybe they'll change it a little so its more targeted to an older audience (remember the anime has no blood, reborns gun shoots lasers instead of bullets, nothing is ever graphic in any sense of the word) compared to the manga... Haha thats it for my rant orz |

| Being only 71 episodes in, I probably don't have a right to speak here, but I do really respect this series for quitting for the time being. I would prefer it came back this fall or later, that way there is a large amount of manga to cover and we wouldn't need too many fillers (I do like a tiny bit of filler though, as I think it adds a little bit of character and charm.) It's kind of going the way of Yu Yu Hakusho, which had NO filler but had long season breaks, that way they made a better quality series. So in the meantime, I'm going to enjoy catching up with the series and just read the weekly manga. Good things come to those who wait! |
