Is that really the end? It is so extremely unfulfilling. I really liked the series, but the end kind of ruined it for me.

They kill their former boss and then part ways with the author who publishes his book finally. I was hoping he would cross over in to their world since he was already spending tons of time with them and helping them.

The ogin "romance" seemed kind of forced too. She was the most against him being there for most of the series but near the end they both started to care for each other even though it wasn't really supported much by anything that we saw happen in the show. Then of course at the end, bye bye.

Hmm. I voted 3, cause i really can't decide if i like this type of endings. Lot of things still remains unexplained, which can creat different vision of these things for each viewer. Anyway this series was very mysterious at all...and i loved it.

But that would sort of go against a lot of the so-called themes, namely about how these undeads arose due to regrets from when they were living. Getting the author to live on as a 'normal' human would actually be much better.

The ending is fine. It's not like he never sees them again either.

He still needs more inspiration for his writing.

Fantastic series, i thoroughly enjoyed the ending. Not everything needs a resolution and i know that if there are still a few questions at the end it makes the anime stand out that much more to me.

The lady of point~

And oop there goes Danjou. Sayonara
Overall, I'll rate this 7/10. It sure felt a bit different but also at the same time gave me a pleasant experience in enjoying the show. Also, reminded me a bit of Hell Girl.

PS Ogin is hot

Was an OK series. The stories were a bit entertaining but nothing special besides the gore. Was gonna give it a 7/10 but after watching the last episode decided to drop it to a 6/10.

It was an alright show....more than anything I think Mr Author is definitely one of the most uncompelling main characters I've ever watched, and it has absolutely nothing to do with how weak he is. There is no sense, nothing compelling, and everything forced about his actions and personality in this show, you could substitute him for a random background character and get about as much out of the show as you would with him in it.

Still, had some interesting plots. 7/10

I like the whole concept of Ogin and Authors romance. It goes through show slowly and at the end I kinda senced some feelings between two of them.

Okay finale and ended up quite disappointing experience for me. The horror atmosphere and story was similar to Boogiepop/SEL feels except it tends to get old with the lack of good execution or wow factors and undeveloped characters (development when it come with feels forced) and found very unengaged at later point and never really picks up. It could been cool as ova with four episode based from first few episodes (which were good) and left open ended.
Anyway the OP song was awesome but ED song wasn't bad and decent way to end a episode.

I didn't expect Danjou to be Kyogokutei and to be their villain, it sure surprised Tatsuta more than anyone. Speaking of Tatsuta, I really wanted her to be killed instead of her just diving into that fire. What she and Kyogokutei did to those people by reenacting that scroll was cruel and vile, they died a merciful death which I didn't want. I'm glad Momosuke got to finally write his hundred stories, but was saddened he never got to see Mata and his group again. Overall this story arc was good, but it just came out of nowhere though and felt forced in some parts.

But overall the entire series was enjoyable. I liked mostly the unique dark art, it certainly matched the mood of the entire series. I enjoyed the unique characters except Momosuke who tried to be a champion of justice, but I understood his presence to the show. Momosuke was to be a voice of reason and the good conflicted side to the series. He was in between the white and dark area, meaning gray area and wanted to exist in both worlds!

I would have liked to know a bit more about Kyogokutei and him turning evil and also maybe about the weapon they used instead of it just being here but overall I suppose it was a decent final.
Still some parts where slightly confusing and the final arc did feel a bit rushed.

This is one of the darkest anime among those I have seen. (and also one of the weirdest art too).

I liked the first 4-5 episodes a lot, after that it was disappointing. The ending is fine.

Two secrets were resolved in the last episode!

In general was a nice anime series, hard, macabre and nice points although to my opinion, lacked plot depth.
The final could said closed but in the future we could have a sequel!!!

some of the stories were amazing (namely episodes 1, 2, 4, 5) while others were somewhat boring. Also Momosuke was so fucking annoying at times, someone on the forums was right to call him a typical harem protagonist. 7/10
