| It isn't a Japanese Anime so it is not in the database. Same goes with many other Japanese Anime based Cartoons. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, /haven't watched it, although I've heard of it multiple of times. |
| Dante's Inferno was partly animated by Japanese studio Production IG, though I don't know if that warrants it to be an anime. As for the actual content, I haven't seen it and don't plan too. I don't see how it really could be any good (it seems like it would just be mocking the original story which should never have been animated). |

| Some of the parts were directed by Yasuomi Umetsu from Production I.G and Shukou Murase from Manglobe so I think it should be included in the database. Just look on ANN for all the Japanese involvement from Profuction I.G and Manglobe. |

| I have that movie... I bought it because it is supposed to be Dante's Inferno, well it is sort of... A weird adaption of that book... It is based on a video game Dante's inferno, so it is kind of versio of a versio that is a versio of the original (yup I am a master of English language Xp ) I don't think it actually is anime even if the makers are "animemakers" or at least some parts of the story (the style and looks really change during the movie, and you can see the parts that are done by the company that made Ghost in the shell etc.) Anyway I kind of liked that movie ^^ |

| I wasn't all that good, and they left out a lot of big details from the game. It kept shifting animation and character styles every time he descended to the next ring. It got kind of annoying... |

| Remember when people used to be so anal concerning what is and isn't anime lol. Now the database features productions by Studio Dadashow and G.CMay Animation & Film. Language evolves people!!! |
