And I have to admit that Shuusui's sword was very nice, not to mention him... :P Probably partly due to my loving Kisho Taniyama voice! Well noone can say they didn't see the sibling complex a mile off!!! :/ |

| This episode had me cringing at some of the basic combat tactics used, alchemy or no. I'm not usually like this, but as this episode was mostly battle, I expected a little more thought put into it. First off, when you're melee, you don't keep at bay from a ranged character that has no close-up defense. You close in instantly. Tokiko needed to charge Ouka ASAP. Yet she sat out in the open simply blocking for the longest time, and it cost her one of her "arms". Additionally, sword vs. lance. A lance would normally have an advantage in the open field with longer reach, meaning that Muko's initial attacks were absolutely correct. However, once it was apparent that Shusui could block every one of his attacks, and additionally absorb his power AND outmaneuver him, it was clear they were mismatched. Tokiko was the one person who could outmaneuver Shusui. And Muko could close into Ouka extremely quickly, unleash energy, AND chase her down. Of course, then we wouldn't have had Muko vs. Shusui, but this tactical error on the alchemist warriors' part was so obvious to me, I just couldn't handwave it like I can in most animes. |
| the battle between the twin and kazuki was prolly the best so far, also i may be off but i don't think its twincest but rather over dependency but in any case after papillion i don't think something like twincest will surprise me whether that is the case or not. |

| Somehow I felt like I was watching Bleach during the battles, can I have a Hollowfication? :D lol the Katana actually had "Sword Samurai" written on it. I wonder why most of the times there's twins, there's incest.. |
