| I came across this video via the blog linked below. It's another one of those Nico Nico Douga medleys that have become so popular in the last year. 525 songs are featuerd in this 55min video. Why not test your knowledge of anime and game music if you have an hour to spare? I'd suggest watching it in 10~20min segments, as all the songs started to merge together in my head after a while! The selection of songs is quite random, from 80's/90's series to recent anime and bishoujo games. Most of the songs are OPs but I also noticed a few insert songs and character singles - watch out for #494. I only got 137 songs, with a further 10-15 that I might have recognised given a few more seconds. I was 100% spot-on with the Kenshin and Higurashi songs, but found that I was surprisingly bad at differentiating between OPs sung by KOTOKO. ^^; How many can you recognise? | I only managed 167, and that is based mainly on the older songs in there. There were so many others that sounded so familiar, but I couldn't place them,and I had to resist reading the name of each song as it came up :D I have a problem with most anime theme songs these days, so many of them sound the same. I can watch a series (including the op/ed each episode) and still forget the song as soon as I am done :) I do better on that 700+ anime song medley :D |

| i got 125 / 525. wow. i think EVERY schooldays / higukai / haruhi / pokemon / digimon / panipanidash / megumi hayashibara / two mix / Coorie / Ali project song was included. i saw a lot of other names of shows i havent seen show up a lot as well. only ONE H&C / Sailormoon / Kirarin / Prince of tennis / ojamajo doremi song?! and they didn't play ANY cowboy bebop, flcl, hana yori dango, paradise kiss, Ranma 1/2 oh, though i was suprised to hear Nadja (107), Tiny snow fairy sugar (446), SOS from kare kano (464). and it made me happy to hear Marmalade boy (423), Oofuri (360, 185), and Kodocha (48) good listen, especially for a lot of older themes i knew SO well, but had no idea what show they were from. now i know some of them!!! |
| I only got 22, but I have a really bad habit of skiping the openings and endings. It was also weird to recognise certain bands but not the songs. Like all the L'arc en Ciel songs ^^ |
