Rising pop star Mima quits singing to pursue a career as an actress, but her fans aren’t ready to see her go...

Encouraged by her managers, Mima takes up a role on a popular detective show, when her handlers and collaborators begin turning up murdered. Harboring feelings of guilt and haunted by visions of her former self, Mima’s reality and fantasy meld into a frenzied paranoia. yea from my theater experience of conjuring watching horror movies on therter is a bad very bad experience plus their is not much difference in the trailer aswell

Unless they have the original cels or film it was shot on this could be just an upscale which if it is it would be full of digital artifacts.

@MadanielFL interesting this is the first person I know who watched Perfect Blue so recently, this was one of my first anime movies I watched and honestly I've already watched it more than 5 times so I'm not interested in this remastered version, but I wanted to share the information the day the video came out on YouTube :)

watched it today for the first time after hearing about the 4k leak 3 years ago, was very worth the wait. this is NOT an upscale, as gkids says they have redone some of the original cels, with only about 4 scenes upscaled. at the start you can vividly see the remaster in perfection, amazing quality. ALSO, the audio enhancement is NEXT FUCKING LEVEL in comparison to the original, which i watched directly after. go see it while you can!

HDR and 4k anime is a new thing that is being seen nowadays and that edition will be worth watching, it will be interesting.
