3rd week of me patiently waiting on cure kiss merch to drop.. another great episode. The girls finally know the truth about Meroron and Purirun’s heart lock sacrifice, but man that’s a dark ending! Please be ok Uta 😢

Wait, was Tanaka always a fairy? I can’t remember if we saw his fairy form before, but s/o to him for bringing Uta and the girls up to speed. Felt cruel seeing Uta try and connect with Zukyoon/Purirun just to get rejected so at least she knows what’s going on now.

I’m still wondering wtf Meroron gave up if it wasn’t her memories of the girls or love for Purirun.. she’s still jealous of Uta and very possessive her Purirun so what actually changed? Aww Uta thanking Meroron for helping Purirun’s wish come true even though she can’t remember Uta moved even Meroron. She’s not as cold hearted as she wants to act.

Solid fight today, more zukyoon and kiss tag teams, I swear that’ll never get old, but of course Uta and Purirun’s relationship was the big focus of the episode. Notice that even if she lost her memories, Purirun’s soul is drawn to Uta and can’t help but cheer for cure idol! Love conquers all.

Really hoping somehow Uta going to get the Kirakiralight for Purirun and passing out will help something click in her soul and make her remember Uta. I need next episode badly!

It's 10pm, does Uta know where Purirun's memories are?

Really, though. The recap, in this case, only reminded everyone what they already know: that Purirun doesn't remember Uta, and Uta wants...er, "desperately" for her to remember. In the meantime, the episode implies that Uta is naïve for thinking she can get Purirun's memories back, and I don't like it. It's also clear that Meroron is jealous; jealous that her "bigsis" (which is another way "nee-tama" can be translated)...made a friend other than her. I was right more or less: Meroron doesn't want her to remember. She just wants her all to herself, which, like I said last week, is beyond selfish.

The "picnic" meanwhile wasn't much of a picnic. It was just Uta, Nana, and Kororo trying, and failing to jog Purirun's memory, which the viewers knew would happen. Yeah, just like last week, this episode was only written the way it was just to make Uta, Nana, and Kokoro look stupid. It's subtle, but these episodes--a "story arc" in and of itself--have been focusing more on the problem and less on the solution, and all for what, because the show had to be "ironic" in some way? Really, to call this whole thing "forced" would be an understatement. Anyway...

Then we have the "breakthrough" if you want to call it that. The "kira kira light" (not exactly what was being said, but makes more sense in natively spoken English, IMO; same thing with "Kira Kira Land") stir something up in her. Meanwhile, while all this is happening, Meroron doesn't understand why Uta is such a good person. In other words, she doesn't understand why Uta had to find that kira kira light. In any case? the episode also confirms something else the viewers knew: that Meroron has a good heart after all.

The next episode has "a miracle in unison" (Crunchyroll's translation). I just hope it's what they're implying it to be.

Oh, yeah, and there's that whole thing about Tanaka (or rather, "Tanakhan") and his true form, and what he found at "Kira Kira Land", and things like that...

I'm glad Uta managed to find the Kira light, feels like it's one step to solving this memory problem. Though it looks like the writers would drag this on for a couple more episodes.

Zakkuri getting severely overworked, with no new hires in sight. How does this evil organization hire people? It looks like there's some that can be hired, but Chokkirin just does not want to hire new ones.

Incidentally, I forgot to mention that the episode appears to reveal what Meroron lost, only for it to essentially say "Psych!", and leave it unrevealed. I personally felt it made for more unnecessary drama. That wasn't cool in any case.

Meroron is a psycho and it really needs to be addressed at some point.

@Mari_Max

Purirun looks so happy waving the Kiralight - then Meroron noticed and decided that they should both transform to stop Purirun from waving the light. Feels like she does not want Purirun to remember.
