Meroron is the real MC of this season. Is a chosen one born knowing the darkness of the world, had a sparking Persona moment there " I am you, you are me", looks like will have a personal fight against Darkine.

Now they are a true group, with having a 5-person finisher.

No feelings wasted now, putting negative ones in use.

Yes, Meroron finally took that the hint at some point, but that apparently was what got her trapped in the Heart Kirari Lock.

She was never taught about what friendship really is, or how to express her feelings, but it's clear that she did really want to learn, and I guess the book she read, "Kizuna no Ribbon", was what helped her to finally learn that other people matter, and that's what prevented Darkine from turning her evil.

However...

That doesn't excuse the way she acted, however "kind" she might have been otherwise. She thought that her "bigsis" (another way that "nee-tama" can be translated) was all that mattered, and because of this, thought it was okay to be rude to everyone else, and to act selfish overall. I honestly am disappointed that Meroron didn't truly learn her lesson earlier in the show. She couldn't learn her lesson until their group attack ("Kirakkran For You") was introduced? I honestly think the writers could, and should have done better.

Still, I am glad they didn't have Meroron turn evil like I said. I'm also glad they didn't (exactly) drag the whole thing out. In any case, she and Purirun are going to live with Uta now. OTOH, I really hope the show doesn't have Meroron go back to the whole "tsundere" thing.

Japan has this idea for idol groups called the "center", who is like the leader of the group. I think "Hello! Project" usually does this with their idol groups, and I THINK the various "???48" theater groups do it too. As for Idol Pretty Cure, I personally have a pretty good idea who it's going to be. After all, it's kind of in her name (hint, hint...).

I'm not like this new song.
Trio Dreams still number 1 in my opinion.

BTW, next we will see the center, I prefer Every one is center just like Muse.

I prefer Song Scenes while they switch position rather than Mirror move just like Aikatsu.

@KanameYuuki I like how they actually sync the battle with the music, even if it's not 100% on rhythm. Meanwhile precure just play a separated animated music video that's not connected to the battle when they use finishing move.

finally, Meroron's issues have been solved. And that's a relaxing song with a group finishing move.

Cure Kiss is much more beautiful when she's smiling.

As a very vocal and long-time Meroron defender I was beyond stoked for this episode. Of course she was suffering in ways that couldn't be seen. Of course she felt terrible about not being able to express emotions properly. Now that so much of what was troubling her is finally resolved hopefully we'll have fewer people being unsympathetic to her obvious struggles and more patient with her moving forward.
