| Not a bad episode but I wish Echika is more aware of the dangers around her. The work she does is a lot more dangerous than it looks and there were some close calls this episode. Her character relationship with Harold has improved though, so that's good to see. |

| The poor cat somehow survived the explosion from the last episode, and now it's gone for good after being turned into a bomb. What a cruel world we live in 🪦🥀🥀🥀. Harold hiding the fact that he didn't use the gun to open the locked door is completely understandable. He doesn't want things like this to come out, or it could mean the end of him. It's also very likely that he doesn't know Echika is aware he lacks the program Lows of Respect. They are finally bonding, as Echika has also come clean about her feelings toward him to some extent. It was somewhat cute to see both of them reveal what they feel about each other. Echika's theory about E's true identity being an AI model equivalent to the RF model makes sense. It's a very likely possibility given how past events have played out. I was already suspecting there was a rat in the department, but what they just said strengthens my suspicion of Raissa, considering how suspicious she has been acting since the last episode. I knew it. The cartridge that Echika got from Bigga did affect her, but it's still good news that she wasn't the one to do that—it was her father. And there was this suspicious man in the background. I wonder what his deal is. He looks like trouble. |

| No way they let the cat live just to kill it in a bomb FUCK. This is animal abuse 😭 Great to see my human/robo ship back together and tackling the E case, but man things got very dicey there with the explosion and fire. Echika admitting she couldn’t stop thinking about Harold when they were separated was sooo cute, but wait am I missing something with her sister? I don’t remember anything about that or was that in the stuff they cut from the start of the season? Harold lying about being the one to shoot the door open because he didn’t want Echika to know the laws of respect don’t apply to him was a two birds one stone situation. He protects arguably the biggest secret in the series and he boosts Echika confidence when she’s already very low mentally without her abilities. “I have an interest in you. In your very being” 🔥 ✍️ 100 percent saving this to the confession notebook. That’s smooth Harold😂 I love deep philosophical couples who can express how they feel on a much more nuanced level than “I like you” really fits in with the type of story and world this is. Now we will pray for that kiss one day. Speaking of Echika abilities tho, so it’s not actually a crisis of confidence, but Bigga’s bumass dad’s doing. Go-figure. I hope Bigga can get that chip to Echika safely because the camera panned to a dude seemingly at the hospital spying on her and if E’s really an AI he probably accounted for Bigga finding out.. here I was thinking E was someone in the police department who could get info on all the movements officers made. Nice twist. |

| What a relief, the cat was safe.... Forget it doesn't matter, they used it as a bomb detonator. Although, who knows? He survived one explosion, maybe he'll survive a second. I want to believe Harold is not an idiot, but someone twisted. He's a robot with an AI capable of predicting choices, he even knew where Echika would stay. But he didn't pick up the gun. Rather, he chose not to, as the only reaction was a warning sound when he wielded it. The usual robotic laws did not apply to his model if I recall correctly. I think the spy is Robin. With all the history about her brother and *E*, plus the fact that she is someone with access to the facility, it makes sense. She was the one who did the mental immersion on the captives, and she never mentioned the fireworks. Also, she was the one who took the cat. Seems too obvious, I really hope I'm right. At least Echika will get her abilities back. |

| It's amazing how understandable Harold's logic is and how bizarre the actions of the main character are. |
| Well I was gonna start my post talking about the cat, but since everyone else already did that, I’m gonna quote Cousin Eddie from “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”, fried pussycat lol. Anyway, pretty intense episode but the best bit was definitely Echika and Harold’s final moments of the episode, these two are definitely the best part of the show and that was as much a confession as we’re ever gonna get so I’ll take it lol, I’m glad they’re finally back together again. Also apparently E is an AI, wasn’t expecting that but cool, and I’m betting the mole is probably Raissa, it’s just too obvious, she was suspiciously absent for most of this episode while all the crazy shit was happening. I don’t want it to be her because that just seems too easy, also she had good moments with Harold and I kinda liked her, also she’s pretty lol, but pretty and nice don’t always mean someone is just that, we’ll see if that ends up being correct or not. And lastly, Bigga’s dad was behind Echika’s decrease in processing ability, not that surprised but I’m glad this means Echika can get back to full form soon. |
| that scene at the end, did she just happen to call especially at time coincidentially? or did I miss something? if so, it's odd they chose to do that so conviniently, that's common in comedies, not shows that are trying to be serious. |

| It makes no sense why Echika just believes Harold when he says she was the one who shot the door open. ... because in the light novel, she did fire a few shots at the door hinge. She just couldn't see if she hit anything because the smoke was so heavy before she got too weak from smoke inhalation to hold onto her gun and then passed out. |

The plot and character struggles felt underwhelming at first glance, but I chose to continue hoping to find more engaging elements later on. Unfortunately, the current scenario is making it increasingly difficult for me to stay invested

I keep getting villain vibes from Harold. Is that normal? Is he actually a bad robot?
Why does Echika trust him unquestioningly (especially given what she knows about his model) and almost seem to be in love with him? I feel like I missed something; they briefly talked about him helping her get over her dead sister, so what? She fell in love with him because of that or something? She is pretty terrible at hiding it, to be honest, and he is pretty dumb not to pick up on it, but I guess that's sorta what is frying his brain as well.
Are they the first 2 human and robot ever to fall in love in this world, or something, and that's why they are both being dumb about it??
At this point, I'm really only invested in their relationship; everything else in the show seems kinda shallow and unimportant.

I cant hide my grin when i heard them talking in the end. Wife and husband interaction lol. I dont know how they can dub it with normal face. I bet the studio full of people who keep their smile lol. Its nice to see this couple seiyuu like shangri la.
| @EarlThe2nd without going on about ...everything in this episode this the funniest thing to me whenever these two are going on about this stuff i can't help but think what they must be like when recording in a studio lol i really can't believe they killed the cat after a fake out even then homie maybe could've of ran towards it to hold it in place but sure i guess he did the right think also i pressing doubt that there are no logs to check to see if a robot uses a fire arm that shit should get ping'd like crazy in the database Raissa is most likely the spy which sucks..because that seemed to be the most obvious case since she inspector NTR'd Echika still into deep to this to quit now |

characters development? all I see was some overused tropes giving no context to it, it felt like "You were there I was there we happened to find each other company comforting" Neir Automata has more character development than this considering both follow same kind of scenario at some point

I wasn't comparing them, they both are totally different, but I found the characters' relationship behavior towards each other quite similar I just recently finished the series that's why I mentioned it I am not saying I hate it I just find their reasons to like each other pretty unconvincing but the story itself isn't that much appealing to me that's all

I believe I have sufficiently clarified my point but To summarize I simply mean that the story and characters' dynamics did not particularly captivate my interest

| It's episodes like this which sadden me - the stakes, the OST usage, the romantic tension and being swept up in it all - since they give me reason to think this series could have really been something quite special and incredible if we weren't receiving an aggressively trimmed down and redacted CliffsNotes version. |
| Thankfully for Raissa, her cat Ganache ended up being saved by Harold and Echika, but the latter still suspecting that Raissa has something to do with E and the Mnemosynes, soon becomes clear when the inspectors are attacked by followers of E, and then the animosity with the cats being explosive devices, just as the entity planned to trap both Echika and Harold, almost bringing them to the point of unconsciousness. Still, even with thie escape effort, the spy within the Department to bring Ganache as the key to E's plot to likely kill Harold off, it's most likely yet another RF AI model, and the relationship as fellow investigators become all the more critical between the two with their thinking minds alike to reconcile their partnership. And as it happens, Echika's memories slowly start to come back up, with Bigga calling in to restore her robotic abilities to normal after her father deliberately pulled the neurotransmitters off of her. To put it slightly, this episode is a great follow-up...if the narrative wasn't this haphazard from the get go. |
