 NHK Enterprises opened an official website for the Future Kid Takara original anime on Tuesday, revealing the main cast, additional staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promo.The anime, originally announced as a movie, will now premiere as an 11-episode short anime, each with a duration of approximately five minutes. The anime will make its world premiere at the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025 on September 25. Voice actors Yuuki Kaji (Shingeki no Kyojin) and Honoka Yoshida (Hi no Tori: Eden no Sora) are starring as Takara and Sara, respectively. Staff Script: Shinji Obara (Mahou Shoujo-tai Arusu) Producer: Shun Hasegawa (Entotsu Machi no Poupelle animation producer) Planning Producer: Kyouko Gendatsu (NHK Enterprises), Eiko Tanaka (Kaijuu no Kodomo) Logo Design: Eisuke Tachikawa Scientific Supervision: Seita Emori (Professor at the University of Tokyo's Institute for Future Initiatives) Educational Supervision: Osamu Abe (Chairman of the Japan Environmental Education Forum) Yuuta Sano (Berserk: Ougon Jidai-hen - Memorial Edition) is directing the anime at Studio 4°C. | Was digging the art when this was first announced but now I'm not so sure. The animation from the trailer looks pretty cheap. |
