I was honestly not satisfied with the length of WFM. There were so many characters who looked like they would be fan favorites that got like one or two scenes.

In addition, I’m sure most of the people on this board saw the situation with Code Geass: Roze last year.

Is it just me or do you guys also want this series to be 48-50 episodes?

They can’t keep making ultra-short mecha anime man…..

Thoughts?

Most likely two split cour just like witch from Mercury to maintain quality if you want more episodes you are always free to pay for them if you can find the staff willing to do it.

I'm not quite sure where, but I have seen some mentions that GQuuuuuuX will have 13 episodes that will each be 45 minutes long

I hope it's a long series too but at the same time it's being made by a team that has made not one but two masterpieces that were only six episodes so even if it's short I have faith that it'll still be incredible.

I think it will be 2 cours but Anno is competent at 26 episodes anime so he'll probably know to write a show that fits it
Though I think it's been said G-witch was made as a side project compared to GQuuuuxxxx so we might be lucky and get a 52 episode show (though I don't know if it's needed, the problem with G-witch was that it wasn't fit for 24 episodes with too many subplots and not a problem with the format)

I would hope for 2 cours at least but I would love the same length as Iron Blooded Orphans if done right.
