| It looked like a kiss scene at the end... Shame, I'm more of a LuluxC.C. fan myself, but it's nice to see that Lulu is a genious that still has time for the ladies (unlike yagami). As for the masturbation scene... It was so out of place and so unnecessary that I really wasn't 100% sure what was going on, though I suspected as much I wasn't sure until I read this thread. Does -anybody- even care about that character? Really though, Lulouch is being a bit too careless - leaving too many hints towards his identity... Saying he wasn't Japanese, taking off his mask infront of the old man. Not only is that dangerous in itself, but with his collar the others can at least see the back of his head. I don't know what it's like in anime world, but hair is a pretty big hint as to identity, especially when Kallin is already suspicious. |

However, if they were going to show it, at least it was dark and somewhat hard to tell. The first time I watched this episode I thought, "What was she just doing?" It was very unexpected. I loved the kiss at the end! I like Shirley and Lelouch together! We'll see what happens though. Animes rarely have happily ever afters. >.< |

| Would love to have an explaination about that scene with Nina and the table. Why was it put in to begin with? It wasn't even comic relief and it was certainly shocking! But sad to see that Shirley's father died and it is clear hear that she is blaming Zero. I doubt that Lelouch is going to change his mind about what he wants to do, especially with the way things are progressing, but maybe he may be thinking about the true cost of his successes. Uneasy is the face behind the mask (or something like that). |

| Ouch, what a major psychological blow to Lulu's resolve. This is my first time watching this series, but I assume Lelouch is very conflicted now. Wtf she was masturbating? That's actually not as unnecessary as it seems... Many animes hold very deep rooted ideas that present something for you to think about. For instance, that masturbation scene shows Nina's behavior is not 'typical old Nina', scared and what not, but some deep rooted psychological problems. And, lets not forget Lulu's anti-establishment agenda, and the tyrannical allusion to past and current day REAL life. |
