| Kikuchiyo has reached back to Nijo Castle, but has reservations to go back to Nio and render his aid instead. Nio not letting go of Naozumi, only to find the Shogun coming back at him, plus the Miburo's arrival with Hijikata tackling Naozumi straight and not giving him any space, for his hand to tremble with fear and excitement. Fighting against the youngest of 10 kids, and leaning onto the compassionate side with a mean face, Hijikata's more trouble than Naozumi could ever face. With Nio and Kikuchiyo back at Nijo Castle, though not without their injuries with the former sustaining a lot of damage, the battle scene brought to the other Miburo members with a manly brawl between the samurai and the farmer's boy, interrupted by Ayame of the Blood Risshidan being one of Yamata no Orochi's Eight Heads, their truce stands as of now. The Miburo vs. the Blood Risshidan will be more of an occurrence going forward. |

| I was really hoping to see Hijikata go head-to-head with the big guy, but I guess they’re holding off on the rest of that fight for later. Now, I’m left wondering what exactly the Eight Heads, or whatever they’re called, are after in all of this. |

| All the hype about this anime has evaporated. All those interviews on the home page and all, this one is very lame compared to other anime that feature shinsengumi. I think it's good time to quit on this |

| The one Blood Risshidan member Naozumi gives Nio a beatdown (just found out he has the same VA as Nukumizu from Makeine lol). Even though he was shown the way to Nijo castle, the shogun can't leave a kid to fight a grown man alone, he returns, holding a sword and trembling. Fortunately Hijikata arrives to make it a fair fight, he'd rather talk with his sword but Naozumi drivels on and on. Ayame interrupts the brawl just when the other Miburo to arrive. |

| Toshizou arrived at the right time before things had take turn for the worst. Nio continued to disply this strong will until the very end till he passed down from all the beating he took. And it seems Kyohachi's part of some "eight heads" group. |
