Supposing they wouldn't kill themselves after seeing the state of our world, whom historical figure would you bring back to life to help humanity go forward? Lot of them had great minds and accomplished great things but would they still be useful today? What do you think, and who would be your personal pick?

albert einstein so he can can make a theory of everything because modern physics is stagnant right now

i imagine einstein can make warp and backwards time travel possible once he finished making a theory of everything

The most powerful and influential anti Zionist in history to save palestine(this is a joke calm down)

For a serious answer, John Lennon so he can be shot again and hopefully course correct us from the bad end.

Sorry I dont have any reply that isnt an edgy joke.

Maybe Thomas Huxley and he could perhaps be a motivational speaker (even though that's well below him), I was just reading a bit about and had no idea how much he self-taught himself. Dude was a boss.

Depends on how broad your definition of a "historical figure" is. I would probably just revive someone like Bernardo Bertolucci or Alexander Pushkin.

Btw, what's your pick?

With everything that was discovered since his death I wouldn't be surprised if it'd help him to discover new stuff but warping and time travel might be a little far-fetched.😆 But yeah Einstein is an obvious good choice nonetheless.

@Nette Well don't worry, I expected at least one person to mention you know who (jokingly or not).

Probably René Lévesque (a Quebec politician and an important figure of the Quebec sovereignty movement). He's a very well-known historical figure within the bounds of my province but not so much (or even not at all) outside of it so I didn't really feel like mentioning him in my first post.

I don't really want humanity to go forward, I think we've gone far enough. Not to say I want to return to the past, humanity should have ended 5 - 10 years ago imo.

@README-win_txt Well if you're a misanthrope you could bring Lovecraft back and be his nihilistic friend.

There's only one correct answer and it's not a politician or philosopher, it's Aniki/Billy Herrington.

@fleurbleue einstein already predicted wormholes and warp drives as well as forward time travel though so only backwards time travel remains to be predicted so if he can make a theory of everything then he might succeed
