Well the part with Suho's past got quite dark, though unfortunately it's something that's happened a few times irl in the kpop industry.
Jugyeong is not the brightest at all lmao.

Mixed feelings about this one. Jugyeong is a little bit …. unhinged? Like, the ending was cool, but she threw the spy camera away? Even before that, we got this whole they’d-never-believe-the-perv thing, and it’s the same old trope in stories where law enforcement never acts like realistic law enforcement. That girl and that creepy guy left breadcrumbs all over for real law enforcement to find. Certainly enough probable cause to start an investigation that would probably unearth a lot of things.

I understand it’s a trope to make the law seem like it’s actively unjust and working against the MCs, because it’d be too easy for the villainess just to get arrested for committing a literal crime, but it always takes me out a bit. Like, “oh look! The MC has to compete in a beauty contest against someone who should be locked up. How cute!”

I LOVE Suho’s and Seojun’s backstory though. I really just watch the anime for these two. Frankly, I don’t blame Seojun for reacting the way he did to Suho … in the moment. It is frankly realistic for people in grief like that. The idea he was still blaming Suho for being a murderer a few episodes ago though, now that we have the full context, brings him so down in my book. Saying stuff like that is perfectly understandable in grief. After like a month or a year though, blaming someone for a friend’s suicide because he was literally asleep and missed a text is insane. I like Seojun a lot, but how can any sane person root for him if he keeps blaming Suho for that? It’s literally worse than the villainess blaming Jugyeong for Suho getting hit by a car.

Seojun and Suho's backstory was quite intriguing. Seojun's anger towards Suho after Seyeon's suicide is understandable, but considering how much time has passed and the fact that Suho wasn’t really at fault, it seems a bit exaggerated. Suho also suffered from Seyeon's death, even to the point where, when he met Jugyeong, he initially thought she was going to jump off the bridge and didn’t want to witness something like that again.

As for Jugyeong, throwing away the camera when she had evidence against Sujin was a pretty foolish move. Still, she declared war in her own way by defeating Sujin in the Goddess Contest.
