Going off of the amount of source material I don't think there is enough content for a s2. Is there can someone tell me.

Going off that ik we're only 3 eps in but time goes by fast and I was just wondering if yah think this is good enough for s2 and will it happen.

I think this anime is top 2 this season personally behind wistoria

considering how many random shows are getting second seasons recently I wouldn't be surprised. But this show is really good so as long as there's enough of the source material i imagine it will.

In terms of source material, theres already 7 Volumes + Side story as of now, so lack of contect is not an excuse, but source material isnt the only factory, The anime to sell well. merch, dvds, blueray and so on. If the anime sells well, then theres hope of this show getting a second season.

I would doubt it. A-1 Pictures is one of those studios where they won’t make a second season no matter how popular the property is.

Well they did all the SAO seasons and movies so... maybe this one gets a chance.

Maybe but they probably have there hands full with solo leveling, mashle and the 18 other side projects that they have. And if they do make a season 2 I imagine it taking years.

@KillerWaffle50 I think they really want to do it. It's just that they have already prepared plans for the next 2 years so they often don't have enough staff for a suddenly popular project. Unless it reaches the level of fame that Lycoris Recoil does.

a 1 is known for not giving us a third season atleast they give us 24 episodes for every of their anime. so I can guarantee that this will get a season 2 but don't know about season 3. eighty six has 24 episodes/2 parts. Magi has 2 seasons, Silver spoon has 2 seasons, solo leveling is also getting a second season, Some exception that rarely get a season 3 are some of the anime which is super popular worldwide like kaguya, fairy tail, sword art online, black butler, and even they haven't got a season 4

@KillerWaffle50 All has different teams.
This is the Kaguya sama production line.
Considering how passionate is staff about this project , I think we will get at least another season. Rest will depend on how the overall project did.

I hope they sell enough for it to be a s2. I'm enjoying it so far. The only thing I didn't like (kinda hated) was the cliffhanger in ep3. I can't wait for ep 4 🔥🔥🔥

A1 literally drops any show that isn't popular enough and doesn't make them fast profit. They did it with Seven Deadly Sins and a bunch of other shows.

Another problem is that the story for s2 has a different vibe from s1. S2 would be more of a traditional harem. Will s1 fans continue to like s2? I doubt that.

@WIHaveNoUsername really? I literally just marathon the novel until vol 7 there are no harem element?? Currently except the imouto which is literally will lose from the start, dont see anyone who likes him except 1 (3 if you desperate enough eventho it is not like that currently, and it is explicitly said in there)
