| Now don't get me wrong I love anime and its stupid tropes as much as the next guy but its getting harder and harder to power through another anime with Caricature like characters that defies all common sense. I am looking for an anime that has characters that are interesting and more real than most animes out there. Something like the characters in Flying Witch and Super Cub |

| Maybe Cross Game? I'm watching it now and it feels very authentic and grounded in reality. It has some classic cliched tropes but they're so well integrated into the story that it hardly matters. I also recommend Juuni Kokuki from your PTW, an incredible fantasy. |
