someone could guide me through, why titles so bloody and violent like Saint Seiya and Hunter x Hunter are rated PG13 and this is rated R like Cowboy Bebop? with only one episode aired it has nudity already?

Im not familiar much with how ratings are distributed, but I do know for a fact that if nipples are shown, then the show automatically becomes R rated.

probably because of the content that’s gonna be shown later on in the show

The stabs were a little more brutal than hxh, the animation is also more realistic than hxh. It also showed someone get stabbed through the neck on screen. I can see why they put rated r but so far it doesn’t seem much worse than fma even though fma is tv-14

fantastical violence gets different rating than normal violence, example if the creatures being killed only look humanoid-ish and bleed green

Its rated R for violence and profanity though? Alot of bloody and violent shows on MAL are rated this way. Meanwhile, other shows that have nudity are clearly labeled R for mild nudity,

Probably because the graphic violence is more explicit and prevalent in this show.

There's levels to the violence, simply put. HxH, for example, has some violent moments peppered throughout, but its mostly just a regular shonen in terms of how intense the violence is with a lot of the worst things being somewhat obscured.

Comparatively, Ninja Kamui spent about half of it's first episode showing - very explicitly - DOZENS of people getting stabbed and sliced brutally. It definitely earns it's R rating.

I haven't seen hxh, but the brutality here is pretty damn high. I seriously doubt it's matched in a shounen title.

It's not just the amount of blood and gore, it's who it happens to and how they show it.

The goriest shounen titles that I know of are AOT and chainsaw man, and this is definitely a step above them in that regard.

like this is probably the most brutal death in aot, and while it is brutal in concept, they don't actually fully show the thing happening:

They "kinda" show it, but not fully.

The first 2 minutes of episode 1 alone should be all the explanation you need lol.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

Take me back to the days before MAL became infested with Twitter's favorite buzzwords.

Hunter X Hunter had violence, but did it show anyone dying or blood? Cowboy Bebop was violent, but was there blood or people dying? I have not seen Saint Seiya.

I would compare Ninja Kamui to Terra Formars which was also rated R. If this wasn't produced for Adult Swim, this anime would be censored like Terra Formars was. Episode 2 has decapitation and torture. If there was a rating higher then R, this would have a higher rating. (Rx is higher, but is only used for nudity)

Bebop has a lot of blood and dying. And I mean a lot of dying.
