The way I see it, it's like asking the following questions:

"Why did the Michael Bay Transformers movies earn more than $500 million at the box office per installment despite being hated?"

"How on earth are books like Twilight and Fifty Shades of Grey bestsellers?"

"Why are terrible sports games like Madden NFL 23 still raking in a lot of dough?"

There are some forms of entertainment that defy "critical reception". Unfortunately for its detractors, Rent-a-Girlfriend is one of those. It doesn't help that the series is cool to hate on, which helps give it more time in the limelight whenever a new season airs.

it proves that this series still makin money and either it has plenty fans, or some dense people that paying enough for this series so the producer can still make a living from this.

Ask japanese audience. Don't ask international Overseas Viewers/Audience.
this Anime & the Manga receiving popularity in Japan.
So maybe that's the reason this is still receiving another Season.
well let it be, if you don't like it then don't bother watching it.

Cause the writer is too good. While it may be “trashy” it still sucks people in too much. I very much enjoy it. S2 was leagues better than S1 tho

So dumb, you literally answer your own question. “I read and kept up with the entire manga” and I’m sure many others did too. Manga views Drive anime seasons. Not that complicated.
