| I'm reading the manga, but by only watching the anime you should already understand that Naruto might (maybe) use the futon rasen-shuriken while in sage mode. The old frog-geezer told Naruto that when in sage mode his body tolerates more damage, and heals a lot faster. And Naruto though "Aha, maybe I can use that technique now" (or something). Shouldn't that be enough? Anyway, we've already seen Naruto training on it. You know, when he was going out of bed at nighttime training. What did he use to make so much damage on the frog status? It could not be the rasengan, since that's not strong enough. Please note that this is information gained from only watching the anime ;D |

| 3/5 I'd say. This episode was quite decent, a little quiet and slow pace (focusing on the same few things; build-up to Konahomaru's rasengan and Naruto heading back), yet still, worth watching. I have always liked Konahomaru, even when he was annoying at the start, I quite liked his devotion to compete with Naruto and sustain a friendship, yet he was great in this episode; this is what's great about War; the minors get attention. Konahomaru is ace; I'm routing for him as Hokage.;) Konahomaru's voice was a little too high pitch? I though he just sounded like a little girl; it's nothing to do with the voice actor being female, as ladies voice most young characters, it just seems as though production haven't acknowledged this characters aging. Naruto is taking a little long heading back; I know it's al part of the build-up, so I'm wondering how well his return will be animated, it better be worth it.:p HERPADERP said: ugh people need to read the manga :| What's the problem? The major issue wit naruto is the fact that it is highly inconsistent . . . For example , jiraiya states that only two people can perform rasengan , he and the 4th hokage . .Then later on , kakashi does it . . . And what made the move cheaper is the fact that now , konohamaru can do it . . . . Woah , nice way to blow up a good move . . P.S . . | Well , i see that this episode has taken down a beating . . Mainly because of this show's power inconsistency . . But besides that , this show has gotten better . . . Animation has improved as well . No major complaints from me |

This episode was stretched to its absolute limit! Ugh! The synopsis for that episode could've been two sentences. At least next episode we get to see Shinra Tensei. |

But still, even if he can do that, one of Pain's bodies should be able to eat it and walk on. That was a terrible episode. Ebisu and Konahamaru both need to die in order to set things right. |

Im guessing it's because his clone is a solid clone. Naruto usually uses shadow clones. Naruto used solid clones once or twice back in his early days but not much anymore. Kishimoto really needs to be more consistent and stop messing around with these power balance. |
