| Do you think we should make it so that Amadeus is able to detect when a user's profile gets deleted off from MAL, which would then automatically get deleted from MB by the system? Like scanning the entire list of users once a week or something just to make sure you can still load up their profile? (maybe bring in the second hand and have it switch between updating profiles and scanning the entire user list?) I recently came across a user who recently got banned and their MB hadn't been updated in over 2 months, but when I did update it, it got removed. How many people on MB have been removed from MAL since but are still counted towards the total number of users? Shouldn't we be taking measures to ensure that the number of users on MB stays true to actually being on MAL? |

| Might as well report here. I'm not sure if it's just me or my browser or my IP address or whatever, but I've noticed that some of the newest profiles added to MAL-Badges don't have their avatars in them, even if their profiles get updated for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th time and so on... Profiles like these still have no avatars after they've been added: https://www.mal-badges.com/users/yzeelb https://www.mal-badges.com/users/hisokahajime https://www.mal-badges.com/users/rinarin https://www.mal-badges.com/users/berrychanx https://www.mal-badges.com/users/kamii3 And then some of the old profiles which had no avatars that only got updated after 3 months....their avatars still don't show up after the update. There should be some out there although a bit hard to pinpoint now, but yeah, that's what happened. |

In the case of custom genres, this is a list of MAL ids of titles, in the "genre inheritance" case it's just that plus the cut-off points for levels. I'd argue that this is a very maintainable way. I don't think we'll see vtuber added as a genre, because its about creators and not content. Actually I don't think it's even anime, because what we see here is avatars generated in real time just hiding the human actors. There's no real script or plot in some cases, it's "influencers wearing avatar masks" doing adlib comedy. If anything, it's a subset of ONA, where MAL puts all streaming content from netflix to youtube. | Hey, I'm trying to update my profile & it won't let me rank up for some reason. I have watched over 100 films & it won't give me the badge for some reason. I should already be Rank 11. The last three films I watched were Memories, Howl's Moving Castle, & Millennium Actress, if that helps. |

Cause I looked at your list and you've only got 89 movies in Completed (sorted by type down, 214-303 in Completed). I checked your animeplus and it says 99 movies in the pie chart, which is the same as your MB. If MB is the same as A+, seeing how A+ counts all titles for Watching, On Hold, Completed, and Dropped for the pie chart (my A+ says I have 2400+ MVs even though over 900 are On Hold), then I think there's an issue with the Movie badge. Hey @Koito91, is the movie badge (or any other badge for that matter) also counting everything in On Hold and Watching lists? Can you triple check to see that all entry type badges only count towards the stuff in the Completed list? Phantom should really only be at 89/100 for that badge atm. Edit: I've checked my list, I've only completed 548 movies but MB says I've completed 589 movies. There is definitely a discrepancy with the badge. |

| So I normally update my profile periodically after I have 3-5 newly completed shows added. This time, I clicked the button 2 hours ago and it still says "updating" and nothing has changed. Is something wrong? Should I be doing something else to reset it? I did refresh the page but nothing changed, it still says updating and it seems stuck. Is there a reset button somewhere? |

Does this happen often or is it because I clicked the update before midnight and it didn't finish updating before midnight so it went on the stuck loop? Just gotta pray to be lucky to not happen to you again. |
| This user is cheating: https://www.mal-badges.com/users/drakdodare. Checked their list and they have 3 entries set at 65535 episodes watched. If we update the episodes badge now, then they will be earning an extra 1.25 million xp, or at least 2 badge levels if they're >lvl 32. Is there a way for Amadeus to detect this or not? Might need manual input from keen-eyed users if the system can't flag these users down. I can see this being massively abused by users (for both anime and manga) |
Bugreport The progress bar looks a lot more like 60% than the 90% it should. Probably a discrepancy between the constants for the visual layout and the rating steps. |

| I've noticed the yearly badge in Kanban got changed to 193X-198X. Are you sure you're gonna be following the spreadsheet and add in the 1910's and 1920's decade badges? |

| I'm guessing 'Improve MAX of Older Badges' is referring to you adding in all the levels for all the badges outlined in the spreadsheet ready for the lvl 50 update (so like all 50 lvls for the anime & episodes badges, all 25 lvls for episode fan badges, etc), and only adding in temporary points until then? Could you explain that one for me? I've adjusted the points for the main badge since you said we're gonna make the lvl 1 badge 0 points (although I disagree). I might make some more changes once I've made some adjustments to other badges like the new decade badges. I want to see if I can make the points growth more exponential since you earn even more points the more ranks you complete per badge. We only have 3 badges remaining to add in (Music type, 191X & 192X). Can we please add them in the next update? |

| I think it's too early for manga badges. We need to have the new badge levels and all the new points and ranks sorted, and probably commission someone to make new badges for lvl 51-100, before we add in over 90 more badges for manga |

| Sorry to bother you again but this time after clicking the update button when I came back every badge is set to 0, and it's been updating for a while now. I clicked on the "it's me button" but things are all showing up as 0 so I guess I will need some manual over ride or reset to make it count correctly? Anime+ (I usually update both at the same time) is working okay, it's just the badges that are messed up. Please help? |
