| I remember this has something to do with the bot, Amadeus, falling asleep once in a while and it stops processing any updates. I don't know the exact reason. It could be server overload or something. Amadeus can handle updating loads of profiles simultaneously but I don't know if the same can be applied if the profiles that Amadeus was updating were those humongous lists from users who were in the ranking's top 50 getting updated simultaneously. If your profile update in Mal-Badges happened during the middle of the simultaneous update of those giant profiles, then you'll surely be waiting for several minutes. Sometimes 20 to 30 minutes, because an update of most of the profiles from the top 50 would take approximately 3~5 minutes per user. I experienced this before and I had to wait for a while too before my profile got updated individually. Just a hunch, but I think there's someone who's always updating these profiles in Mal-Badges around every 6 hours or so. Amadeus might have just fallen asleep, and @Koito91 needs to wake him up. Whenever this happens, Amadeus falls asleep for around 2 hours only, but this time, it's already past 24 hours and Amadeus still isn't doing anything. |
| Just came back from my trip out of Germany where I had less-stable internet, so notifications of the site didn't get through. Aside from that, not sure what happened but fixed it. Gotta check the Amadeus logs what happened and will rewrite this part where it goes to 0 (zero) and stays on it if update fails or anything else. As always, thank you for being alert and posting here and my apologies this issue is already happening for around 24 hour-ish. Edit: Seems issue had to do something with the IP Addresses. Amadeus corrected it but was waiting for approval as the changed lines of code was more than the threshold. All 393 failed queue jobs are now back into Amadeus, just give it time for that to be handled~ Thank you~ |

| Bug report. After the last MAL-Badges update, I got an unexpected increase in my XP Score. At first, I thought It was due to a change in MAL's genre tags. However, while I was looking at my badges, It caught my attention that the "TV fan" badge wasn't counting the right amount of animes. So, I decided to compare my MAL-Badges statistics with my MALgraph stats. This is what I got: My "TV fan" badge counts 75 completed animes, while I have 70 completed TV series. It seems that this badge also counts the series that I am currently watching and the ones that I have on-hold. My "Action fan" badge counts 64 completed animes, while I have 66 completed Action animes. My "Fantasy fan" badge counts 65 completed animes, while I have 70 completed Fantasy anime. I have tried to update my profile several times, but the problem persists. I don't know if anyone else has this problem. Edit: After updating my MAL-Bagdes profile today, the Action and Fantasy badges now counts the correct amount of animes. However, the TV fan badge still shows 75 animes. |

@Koito91 Is this what you meant when you stated in the Kanban about "Integrate Manga"? I think this looks neat. Now both the anime & manga stats are complete in the profiles. Just gotta update your profiles for the complete stats to show up. This is cool, but the manga badges will have to wait for a while longer. The level 50 cap is what I believe should be the next high priority so that means prioritizing the maximum rank of all anime related badges needs to happen soon. |

If we're gonna get manga badges soon, then the filters for our badge profile needs a big overhaul. I am of the opinion that we should do all the remaining anime badges and updates before starting manga. |

So, I changed my name on MAL some days ago, and since then my page on mal-badges keeps showing this "500 | Server Error", I tried accessing it in another browser and even in another device but this error persists in all of them, it's been like this for about 3 days now. | Bug: Person appears twice in badge rankings, and when I click on their name, I get an Server Error 500 message for both. They appear twice in the rankings page as well. These profiles may need to be removed as I believe it's a fake profile. If a user gets flagged as a suspected cheater, when they next update their profile, a pop-up appears telling them to fix whatever entry they use to cheat otherwise they get banned? As long as they fix the entry, they shouldn't get banned. |

I'm trying to get the 193X fan challenge, but there are almost 50 193X animes in MAL's database. And I wonder... How can I watch 95 193X media if there are only 50 entries? Can you explain that to me?
| @Stuntdrath there’s actually 93 anime you can watch for the 193X badge (excluding stuff you can’t physically watch). It will be adjusted in the future where the highest badge level will be for 75 entries Check out the post media post for what you can’t watch. |

| @Stuntdrath set the search date 1 day before and after the year. So set the start date to 31/12/1929 and the end date to 1/1/1940. You can then see all the entries that don’t have a date to them. You get 3 pages for your results. |

I'm trying to get the 193X badge and i'm stuck at 94 animes (the badges asks for 95) i already watched all that is available, there are like 12 lost media in that decade, and the badge is aking me for one more to complete and I don't know how to find that anime that i'm missing.
| @Fausto-XIII 94 is the limit as that's what I have as well. Once we get around to doing the lvl 50 update, we will change the badge so that the max lvl you can achieve for it is the lvl 6 badge (75 entries) |

| @BeastyAnimefan skill issue You're getting kicked out of the update queue, that's why. Updates have stopped working, so Koito needs to come in and fix it again. |
