| Anime only watcher here, Hmm, it looks interesting, and MAPPA did excellent work in animation.I don't have much knowledge of cgi but don't know why people were bad mouthing it for the past one week for its cgi. It worked well for me, but yeah I have to say the hype was real. It delivers what the hype was., 9/10 from me for this episode. Waiting for the next Tuesday . |

| I can already tell I'm going to love Denji. He seems so humble and sweet, dude blames himself for putting Pochita in danger because he wished for a better life. I hope this show can live up to the hype that everyone's put on it. If not I'll just read the manga. |

| Here we go the most Hyped and Anticipated Anime from Fall 2022. As Anime only, I like the premise already. Poor Denji, his life was so miserable. The sound design and the Fight scene was Insane. Wow MAPPA CGI looks really good. Denji got a hug from Makima, that's so wholesome. What an Amazing start for the Season!! |

| Damn the animation is good. People bitched about the CGI from the leak but it's actually pretty decent. About the only thing I don't like is that the color palette is the same as almost every recent Mappa anime. I get that anime from the same studio will look samey but holy shit there are more colors than the drab brown or whatever the hell they keep using. I wish the colors were as vibrant as the manga covers but oh well. Whether it's JJK, AOT, or now CSM they look samey and I don't like it. I Hope Vinland Saga won't have the same problem. |
| Never read the manga I will be speaking as a newcomer to this series here. I actually thought it was decent. Denji was a little cringe at times but overall he was a good take on a protagonist as we don't often see average teens anymore. I like it when an ideal man takes the role at times with Guts and Light Yagami being my favourite examples but at this point it's gotten beyond overused which is why we've ended up with a ton of Mary Sues now, with Kirito being the original and Ayanokoji currently being the pinnacle. Cinematography was also very good, though there were a few instances where they tried merging 2D with 3D which was kinda weird to watch. Felt like I was watching Who Framed Roger Rabbit at times. Either way though, 7/10 episode. So far I have no intentions to drop the series. |
| Anime only. I'm sold on gore alone. Chainsaw Man's bloody massacre after Zombie Devil's whole "you're one of us" reminds me of Devilman going against own kind. |

| Okay, fighting scenes was alright but overall that was quite an interesting start. Definitely gonna watch more eps and see if it's worth continuing. |
| As always Mappa baits everyone with 2D in the trailer. Everything else looked spectacular. The fight lost a lot of intensity because of the CGI for me, actually ruined it. |
| What a start. They didn't hold back the gore. Seeing Denji getting repeatedly stabbed was terrifying. The OP might take some time to get used to but the ED was amazing. To think there will be 12 different ones. |
