| until now i never watched kaguya sama and now i have binged all 3 seasons and personally i think season 2 was best out of all 3 season 1 was great at introducing but felt more episodic comedy with no continuation/progress (until fireworks festival arc which i feel was actually better than cultural festival(leaving out confession of miyuki) and season 3 i think had its moments but season 2 i felt every second was a moment and i was laughing so badly all the time.. what do u think? |

| You can't really compare season 1 and 2 with the third season. Since the first two were more focused on comedy while the third season was more on the romance side. I'd say season 2 and 3 were both great in their own way but if I really have to pick, I would choose the third one. It's because of how things progressed and how it was a lot more balanced between romance and comedy than the other two seasons. And the confession at the end was just like a cherry on top of it. |

| Season 2 and for me, it's not even close. I thought season 3 was the weakest season. It is clear the festival arc was dragged out compared to the manga and that was just A-1 pictures' way of saying there's going to be another production. I'm a bit pissed off that the next arc after the festival arc wasn't adapted to the third season. |

| Season 2 still hits hardest. There the humor is the most witty, and even when it transitions to a far more serious tone with Ishigami's arc, it doesn't feel out of place and instead succeeds in delivering a blow to the gut. The only minor complaint I have is that I wish it all would've ended with something other than, what was it, a balloon-popping contest. Despite Season 3 also having its significant moments (particularly Shirogane's backstory telling when he first fell in love with Kaguya) and of course the entire series' crown and jewel that being the confession scene, I still think S2 is the overall better package. I'll re-watch S3 sometime in the future and maybe my opinion will change, but for now I'd easily put it below S2. I don't know what it is, maybe I was expecting far too much, but I didn't 100% love the confession scene even though I've been looking forward to it for years. Heck I might even prefer S1 over S3, mainly because of "I Can't Hear The Fireworks", which for me, was the peak of the series. |
