Poor Meiko... Namura was really mean, can't he understand that she wants to be with him no matter what... I hope she will like Satoshi now, he's much better than him.
By the way, the temple was really pretty.

More likely a question of poor Satoshi... Despite his joking manner, Satoshi is another of the characters who really comes off well. He is doing his best to help Meiko out, even though it may cost him her love. All in all he's a pretty class act (as expected of the student council president, after all).
Please don't feed the trolls!
In my next life I want to collide at the corner with the cute transfer student
carrying a piece of toast in her mouth

Satoshi is for sure at this point a great help to Meiko. Meiko is really having a hard time around these parts with her love but I do love how Satoshi helps Meiko at this point which will hopefully make her dreams come true.

Another ep wasted on Na-chan, another filler. I wonder how many more we'll have like this.

I don't understand this man, if he loves her how can he make her go on suffering like that? If he doesn't, like all jerks, shouldn't he at the very least sleep with her? But he does neither. What's his deal?

I don't get Meiko, why does she want to keep getting hurt?

I'm surprised by how many people who don't get Namura. I feel like he had a lot of reasons behind his action. It's not like he is being "mean" because he wants her to suffer or anything. He just thinks it for the better if my MeikoXSatoshi ship ended up together! if they stayed separate. I can see the reasoning behind his action but whether I approve or not is another story.

Satoshi, on the hand had suffered enough =/ It's to the point that I think it's unfair for him to love Meiko anymore.

I was looking for this comment exactly! I really doubt Na-chan is being mean and acting selfish. On the contrary, I think he's being very thoughtful of Meiko. You can tell from the shots he is also struggling with his decision to let her go. To me, it's crystal clear that he also still loves her, but being the older of the two, he feels like he has the duty to act as the adult and takes on the responsibility of deciding for the both of them what is best for her, who is still a teenager and is acting on her emotions only.

At this point I haven't finished the show yet so I don't know how it ends, but having been in a situation similar to that of Meiko's (except no Satoshi in the story, sadly!), it would indeed be better for her to follow her own path, at least for a few more years to mature a bit before she decides to follow his path and go back to his side.

This makes me hard to dislike him, but I'm still team Satoshi! That man deserves an award for his perseverance and dedication, lol

My face of shock when meiko said her story was based off of her and namura : 😐 like no duh. I stg if ryoko interferes and meiko and namura somehow get back together I might have to drop this. also what was up with him sending the message to her award party like you know she’s struggling to get over you so get out of her sight and leave her alone. he’s always doing these half-baked things.

justice for satoshi tbh he’s leagues better than namura and not a pedo (let’s not forget namura was a college grad and meiko a middle schooler when they met). I don’t know why all of the other characters are supporting them like have some perspective. also did the show writers expect the audience to root for namura? him and suzu are my least favorites.
