I've started watching the anime recently on Hulu and I was curious about which episodes I was watching. Is Nettōhen the same as the original 18 episode broadcasts? Were they all mixed-in and re-aired? Is Nettōhen a continuation?

As an additional request; which volumes/arcs do each of the seasons cover? Thank you!

Nettohen is the "second part" after the first 18 episodes that is the first season. In the first 30 episodes some of them have been ordered differently in different releases, but long as you watch them all it doesn't matter. So the first 18 episodes had a different production even if the team staid mostly the same.

Here full list of manga volumes and their chapters that were not animated https://www.reddit.com/r/ranma/comments/3cecgc/manga_chapters_not_in_the_anime/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

Just watch it all first and then read what you missed. That's how I did it and as it's mostly episodic you won't miss anything.

Ranma ½ in Hulu? I didn't know that.

I've seen this a year ago, Ranma ½ Nettohen, second series of the anime adaptation of the manga. This could continue gradually until 1992, with 143 episodes, and 161 in total.

nettohen is a direct continuation that is paced better then the original 18 eps and continues the story. its overall unfinished unfortunately so you'll need to read the manga to enjoy all the ranma plotlines. the anime covers into the mid 20s of the manga volumes around 24-26 ish is where it stops of the around 36 vol out there iirc, nettohen has plenty of anime only stories so it doesn't cover as much source material as you might think in its additional 143 eps. theres also 13 ovas,2 movies and a 40 minute special in terms of easy to find extra animated content.theres alot of special content listed on mal that is pretty much lost to the age of vhs
