So I can't exactly say Itachi is better written than Sasuke or vice versa. If we wanna talk about personality than Itachi(GOAT) is ahead but again Sasuke has his reasons for the way he is. Both the brothers are among the best written characters of the show. |
| Itachi is so much better. Both well written, but Itachi was enjoyable and stole the show every time he was on screen. Sasuke was borderline unbearably annoying for like 75% of the series. |

He got a very memorable and awesome first appearance in Naruto pre-shippudden, I was fangirling so much first time I saw him :) On Shippuuden all his moments and fights remain my most favorites ones among all, not to mention that he is actually true hero in Konoha, totally best chara ever ^.^ |

| No comparison tbh and no offense to Sasuke fans but he is basically the emo kid stereotypical character, he gets character development later in the show after specific event but other than that he is pretty much as I explained above Itachi on the other hand is very well written character, his screen time is way less yet he had bigger impact on the show and on the audience as a character |

| I think both are well-written characters in their own ways, but if we're talking about liking then I'll say Itachi. I understand Sasuke and the reasoning behind actions he took, but even this couldn't stop me from feeling extremaly annoyed at some points of the story, he's really hard to bear most of the time. |
